We model the movement of multiple electrons by saying that a hoke exists and it moves this way. U only have to take one. That's why holes are quasi particles. If u say both holes and electrons move u treat them both as real particles which is not possible

When electron moves to CB he leaves an empty space in VB that empty space we call Holes.....now when we apply Electric Field say in the Right hand direction then electron are try to move in left direction and they fell the free space which we are calling holes means holes are nothing but electrons that's why holes have mass.....There is nothing called holes in any atom we are just name the empty space which was created by electron when he moves to CB and empty space we called it holes for our understanding this empty space is filled by electron during there motion when we apply EF.......So conclusion holes are nothing but electrons see 4:20

K cannot be exactly zero we only take values which is very close to zero.
If k becomes exactly zero it will violate the uncertainty principle
