- Welcome, today im going to beat pokemon HG/SS by using a new team every gym this took a whole lot of grinding so a like would definetly be appreciated. Im going to try and optimize my teams for every single gym once i have used a pokemon i can't use it again and i can't use any items in battle buckle up because this is gonna be a good one.

Lost a couple of braincells when he kept on waterfalling an underground Hitmontop while having Earthquake.
HaxAth well he’s slower so I don’t think it would’ve done much
@@wapson2176 there was still no reason not to use earthquake instead of waterfall since he couldn't have flinched him due to being slower. Earthquake was still the best play

Wait, at arount 20 minutes in the video, you have a swampert2 that knows earthquake, battling a hitmontop that uses dig a lot. Is Earthquake still very effective for a pokemon underground?

with the dragon gym around 15:00 i didn't knew what to do but i played it on my phone so i just used a cheat and battled the old guy and i got my badge while i did not fight the dragon gym leader

I have a harder challenge new team EVERY TRAINER BATTLE (duplicates allowed) personally i am doing this in leaf green and you have to plan for every trainer battle
You should get a team randomizer and do a different team every battle run

You should o this in gen 5 and gen 6, there's lots more choice. Also, for the Elite 4, you should have went with a best-of team! You need to pick 6 Pokémon from 6 different teams! Add another layer of challenge to your gym teams: No Pokémon of a type that is super effective! No STAB super effective moves!
