The pop-in and shimmering in 3 is gnarly. I prefer the look of 2, particularly the natural lighting (3 has some weird yellow filter that just makes it look washed out) but 3 has a better cockpit. Also the trackside details in 2 are more dynamic and the textures seem to be better too.
If you add reshade on the pc version you can add more TAA filtering and change the color sceam helpes a great deal with shimmering i get barely any now.
Great video Rob, thanks for putting this up, I did this myself yesterday, on the PS5 but my TT2 game is a PS4 version; the second game graphics are sharper with less Pop-in, the graphics in the new game look a bit softer and hazier and of course the texture pop that everyone has. What I notice most is on the second game, the handling always felt more nervous and skittish and I made more mistakes with it because of that, the way the camera moved in certain views was very annoying, and that ambient wind noise of rushing past things I found annoying and could never remember how to turn it off or down. So I prefer the look of the second game but prefer the handling and better connected feel of the bike in the third game.
the biggest difference for me (and shown in this video) is the visual clarity of the cockpit camera. Being able to see much further up the road in RONE3 and not having that weird grey film effect on the glass (and bug splats!) makes the experience much more fun. I find I can ride better and faster in cockpit cam than 3rd person
I feel the same way. Now I just have to consider whether it's worth buying the game "just" because I have a clearer view through the lens/visor. Whereby the physics has probably also been changed - at least according to what one reads on the net. Do I have to think carefully about whether I should buy it or wait and continue playing Ride 4 and/or TT2.
Someone on the net said he played with the sound settings for wind and motorbike and then managed to get a sound like that in TT2. I believe he reduced the engine sound to 30% and then increased the wind noise accordingly.
@@knusperzwieback7697 I will have to play with the settings i know i havent got a professional helmit as such when i ride my nike its like a hurracane coming through sometimes.
I despised the twitchy handling in 2. Felt absolutely zero connection with the bike. The to & fro of the camera was disorienting as hell. 3 looks to be a major improvement in my estimation. Might have to give this series another go.
First one was a robbery 2nd one felt like it was at least a playable demo game. Hope the 3rd edition actually stops the bike from random weaving and crashing ina stright fucking line last the other 2.
Excellent SBS, thank you! I really appreciated the improvements to control mapping they made with 2, but was otherwise not a fan of the game. Looks like 3 may be a nice upgrade.

Rimz had those issues too, i was hoping it would be sorted by now with this title....oh well ill just wait till it goes on sale
The feeling of speed in TT2 is much better!
Yep.

looking forward to MGP23 and Ride 5

You need the bug splits to make it more real.
I prefer the wind sounds on number two and i wish on number 3 you had an option to have the external crash cam not as impactfull in first person.

Using the same bike would've helped the comparisons
Personally I still play on the edge 1 - I have 2 but I thought it was terrible handling and braking compared to the first one - So, is 3 better?
Yes 3 is better
A few things need to be tweaked in 3 - for instance the weaving AI what is that all about ? and its graphically nasty for a 2023 game.

How do the physics compare to something like Ride 4?
Hello, can the gyroscope of the ps4 or ps5 controller be used?
Im disappointed the brake fluid is a texture over a thing like in ride 4 but ah well
I play TT2 on PS5 and it has a specific ps5 update for stability and I prefer it now.
Third person cam on TT3 the rider positioning reminds me of a frog preparing to jump. personally not a fan of either to be fair!
I prefer so far the third.
Is better in any points for me
I tried TT2 again but I find I just don't have enough control over the handling. Is TT3 better?
Yes it does feel better than 2
So far better, the physics of the second is so strange
Not a huge fan of the physics still but good improvements. If it was more like ride 4 it would be epic
Ride 4 feels shit
Would have loved to seen the twins or superstocks in the edition tho
No bug splats on TT3?
basicamente, facilitaram a jogabilidade, melhoraram um pouco os gráficos e deixaram o menu mais convidativo.. ainda prefiro o 2

May I ask? How many of you guys play moto games. Controller or keyboard. I find it hard both ways.
I use a controller
makes sense because the physics have little do with how an actual bike behaves or is controlled for that matter.

The graphics have def improved in 3
sense of speed is better in the TT2 also the sounds.
I never had the 2nd, and from seeing it here, the new one is much better.
No 2 is better.
The second game felt like absolute garbage compared to the first. How does 3 feel compared to 1?
3 is the best feeling out of them all
It’s like 3 looks better but 2 has more content
For me number 2 is king i don't understand why they canged developers
TT2 is better.
Really isn’t
@@ROBO46 for me and others, it's yes.
The difference in clarity is amazing, 3 is a lot sharper than 2. Looking forward to riding 3. Awesome 👌
TT 2 was way better.
I disagree
TT3 bike sounds garbage
