Seems very similar to SOL: Last Days of a Star published by Elephant Games in 2018 (after successfully funding on KS). Some3 of the mechanics are a little intriguing, so I may check this out when their project launches.
The sun won't explode, but transforms into a red giant, and it's volume will become so large, it will swallow the inner planets of the solar system. Also our sun is too small to become a supernova.
Oeps! I selected the wrong game ! Interstellar instead of Starship Interstellar. Hoping for a solo mode though.
