I mean this sincerely, is it not more optimal to stand by the ledge and wait till he jumps up to meet you, then use hammer aerials? Or to stay by the walls and use spinning hammer by running up the walls? Or to get on the mini hill on the upper ring and slide so you can spin attack against the monster? I'm not memeing I thought that was optimal play.
It's only my opinion, but for me the monsters in Master rank are waaaay to tanky. You played almost perfectly and at some point it looked like he was never going to die

You don't need earplugs if you know how to roll through roars. You can "dodge" roars, tremors, and wind pressures if you know the timing
