  • Sabine Hauert is Assistant Professor in Robotics at the University of Bristol in the UK. Her research focusses in designing swarms that work in large numbers, and at small scales.
    Taking inspiration from nature itself, we can engineer the behaviour of huge numbers of robots, be them big or nanosized. It could be a game-changer, but not necessarily in the way you think.

    Interesting presentation, but the director/producer should work on showing the slides/videos when the presenter shows them. The presenter begins discussing an image on the screen that either gets displayed after the fact or not at all. Too much time on using the other camera angles and not enough on the actual presentation detracted from an otherwise great presentation.
