I’ve been seeing so much news coverage on the deadly gang violence in Haiti. But your videos greatly contrast that! Showing us the beauty of Haiti. Can you please inform us more on what’s going on in Haiti for those of us that are interested in traveling to Haiti. What is your take on what the media is pushing out about Haiti?
Most of what’s in the media is actually true. But people don’t realize that Haiti has ten departments & most of the issues are in the West. & even with it being in the West, it happens in different areas at different times. It’s kind of complicated. But half of this video take places in the West (in Petionville). But it’s a certain area in PV that has issues from time to time. I’ve never been to that area (nor go to that area) so you’ll never see it in my vlogs. & even though I live in the West, I have never witnessed any of the gang activity in person. Everything I see is on video like everyone else. Never seen them walking on the street or anything like that. My area has been okay so far.
