@@hangingwithvoid360Hey man, I have another question for you before I pull the trigger on this beast of a camera. Here’s my predicament, I shoot a ton of vertical real estate content and the 4d doesn’t have a portrait mode. Of course I could crop my 16:9 footage, but my shots wouldn’t be wide enough, even on a 9mm lens. Here’s my crazy idea. What if I removed the lens and lidar unit then mounted a dji action 4 to the bottom of the rail that the lidar unit sits on? Do you think the rail would be able to support an object heavier than the lidar unit?
@@kevsuntzu I have a go pro, its similar in weight, i can test that tomorrow afternoon. Not sure how ill mount it though. As for removing the lens, i think you'd need to keep it there because its weight is needed to have the gimbal system work. It expects a certain amount of weight. Thats my assumption based on previous gimbal systems ive tested things with like using a cell phone instead of a camera. Too little weight is bad.
@@hangingwithvoid360 Yeah fair point, I used to run an iPhone on my ronin m and had to put a counterweight at the bottom to get it working properly. I appreciate you going out of your way man, no rush at all. Thank you!
You’re the fucking man!! You answered all of my questions. Thank you, much appreciated my friend!
