The first game already shows perfectly how luck dependent this deck is and what a bad idea it is to bet everything on one card that has no defense against hard removal. If yyour forges and the colossal minion guy had been burned you 100% would have lost the game after his titan. chances are, if your giant had not survived barely with 1 hp you most likely still would have lost.
I posted about this deck on competitive hs a few days ago. And yes this isn’t supposed to be a meta deck . It’s a meme deck that still wins games because of how fast you pump out big minions . Most decks right now have very little hard removal with the exception of priest . Being able to hit for 14 on turn 5 is pretty insane . I pushed to diamond 9 on the second day of monthly reset with this deck with 8 star bonus.
What about plague/excavate dk? Or not interested? Im trying to make one heap from the welcome back packs, but i think it needs red because removal is too important. Or maybe playing for the board will be better?
no, the removal is not important becaus eit's a tempo deck, your gameplan is to be ahead of them on board or to force them into trading until you have enought plagues in their deck to win the long run. all removal you need is to trade your minions in their minions and to use daon with the ship to kill minions.
