For those who weren't there live, Discord chat would later lose their line privileges after someone in Discord chat started posted slurs.

Sadly, Doug no longer uses either UA-cam Chat or Discord Chat on his streams, because a few people had to ruin it for everyone. On the bright side, this means that it's finally VOD Chat's time to shine!

@neonintention Doug clarified in a recent stream: He stopped streaming on UA-cam because it was bringing tons of viewers who had only ever experienced his uploaded videos (or even just one or two videos) and swamped Twitch, UA-cam, and TTS alike with irrelevant and inappropiate messages and memes from years ago. It got to the point where Doug was physically uncomfortable with streaming because of the effect UA-cam Chat/Streaming had. He ended up sacking UA-cam streams entirely (losing nearly a third of his stream income in the process) because it got so bad.
Meanwhile Discord was using slurs
UA-cam chat was just tragically unfunny. Discord was A Problem.

When ever Doug gives into one of his chat’s demands, it always spirals into adding so many things that the stream becomes practically unwatchable.
And I love it.
Fun fact: in the last few months Doug decided to stream only on Twitch because "Guys, UA-cam chat is trash".
