“I also have a thing in medical assistant” I love when people say dumb shit like this or “my brothers a lawyer so I know what I’m talking about” or “my neighbors a dentist so don’t try to pull a fast one on me”....they never get how stupid they sound 🤷🏽♀️😂😂
Mind boggling isnt it? She had no idea what an idiot she sounded like
They both were on something for sure..
Couple of local trash
Right?!?! If you’re in the medical field you should know that they will ask these questions… 🤦♀️
I can’t stay home. I’m a CNA. I can’t when i see those 😂😂😂
"No no no no no I don't drink, I drink because of the pain". Geez Louise
So funny, and "I'm in the medical field and I'm a teacher, she has A.D.D."

@@pamlyles8905 😂
I’m a medical assistant.. that does not make you a doctor
I said to the surgeon after my husband passed on the surgical table ...
Hours later ... I told him to go home & hug his children & to kiss his wife .
I held no malice . I still do not after 9 years a widow with no family ...
Can you imagine doing your Best Work but the patient dies ?
I'm trying to recover .
This surgeon shall never forget my Paul .
No harm , no foul .
We gave it our best shot !
And so it is ...😮😢❤❤❤
"I am in the medical feild! I am A Medical Assistant" Miss, if a person craps the bed i will let you know
My brother just survived Infective endocarditis... 5 strokes.... staph in his blood... heart valves infected... Brain bleeding coiled off. His Doctors and nurses saved his life. THEY ARE ANGELS. He is now out of ICU 5 wks later... and expected a full recovery. Speaking....He can move everything. He had so many tubes..... he is 53yr old and we can have him for 54.
How is your brother doing?prayers for him and your family ♥️🙏
Yay! Glad he's going to be ok.
God bless all those people in the medical profession you have to hand it to them they have a special group of people God bless them all
Oh Lord I would laugh all the way out the door if a patient talked to me that way.
Thank you to the men and women in the medical field.💜
I give props to these guys working in the ER. It is for sure a challenging department.
I've been sent to the ER for a seizure and that had to be the scariest day of my life.
But you know what I survived mainly because of the hard working Emergency Department staff.
And sadly while I was in the hospital I unfortunately witness a Police Officer pass away from a gun shot wound on the side of his throat.
ABSOLUTLY , cool , boss , AWSOME
Love these hospital shows .
Lmfao she has a "thing in medical associate" she must know better than the very well educated doctor
phucked ur mom Exactly!
I’m sure she didn’t go to Harvard Medical School on a $300,000 scholarship.
Music to sleep
Daughter is beyond intoxicated. I work in a pharmacy and we see this 100 times a day
@@lila-gracenunyasun1334 yet still the only answer I have is "I'm sorry (crazy lady) can I get you an Ativan?'
Love the young Obama. Down to earth and has an awesome hunour and a caring Dr.
That “teacher”/ “medical assistant” was just mad cause she couldn’t get her mom more drugs for her addiction. lol
Probably hers too 😂
Thank you for putting this full episode on
STOP CALLING RESIDENTS/ATTENDINGS DUMB. You honestly have NO idea the lengths that are taken to ensure your health and safety. Take into account medical history, age, weight, allergies and problems that are all given by the patient. YOU come into the ER and we know nothing about you so YOU are the one who gives us the information. We can only work on the information you relay and what we see. We work off of information YOU give to us. There are three sides involved; patient, medical staff and the truth. You’re responsibility is the symptoms. Ours is trying to figure out a prognosis before a diagnosis. The truth is what’s actually happening and trying to figure out what the real issue is. Give us a BREAK. We’re not fucking around. We’re trying to HELP you.
Relax. Clearly, the medical field isn't for you. I hope you have found yourself, and also a new career in the 3 years since you posted this comment
Excellent Series, Very real and honest
She doesn't want NAARCAAAWWTIKKS
Unfortunately people that really need pain meds are grouped with "narcotic " seeking junkies....its a tragedy... it angers me....so frustrating....
True
It's not a tragedy - it's STATE SPONSORED TORTURE, for the SIN of being in pain. It is unethical and inhumane.
Agree. Its so out of control. It was so hard for my mom to get them after A SHOULDER REPLACEMENT. It needs reformed.
I've had multiple back, neck, partial shoulder replacement(the ball, metal pounded in the middle of bone). The metal ball wore off the rotator cuff. On top of that, I fell SNF had a spiral break up the arm that has the metal inside the bone. Needless to say, I've been I'm pain since 1995. Of course, the Drs
prescribed pain meds, antianxiety meds. Then they decided to stop those and call us addicts! Now we have to pee in front of someone, put something blue in the toilet, turn the water
off for the sink. Wow, it makes a person feel like a bad person.
We absolutely adore Children’s Hospital!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you ever so much Dr. Becker… you, hands down were my little girls first REAL friend. You showed her that there is someone else out there that understood her.. with her dyslexia, add, adhd, and her N1. We all love you!!
Our daughter is precious! You, Dr. Becker are precious! I am so beyond blessed to have had our worlds connect!
xoxo…. We ❤️ you!!
I would like to join your group\]
Ron is amazing. What a great attitude! Also, nurse Amanda cracks me up and she’s cute!!
Ron lost his battle to cancer two years ago 😔
Ron is my best friends brother. It sucks
@@mandysosnoski2034 can I ask how you know?
This is the first time I've watched this so be kind.
Well I had Brain Cancer & needed surgery NOW.😨 We flew out on CHRISTMAS (from Alaska to Seattle), did all the tests & had Front & Left Temporal Lobe Surgery on Dec 28, 2005.
Did TERRIBLE at first; I could understand EVERYONE... nobody understood me🤕 For the 1st day of my life, I resorted to waching TV 😢When we made it back to AK I never got to go back to the job I loved & I had to receive Radiation in Ankride.
My husband desperately needed to get back to work (away from me & the drama)😩& I was shocked at how many people where willing to drive me in, what & brive me back... we're talking 3 hours (radiation on a skull takes a full 30 minutes), that's the Alaskan way! 😁
I TOTALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH ALASKA AGAIN!!❤ There were more people who donated to drive than there were days I had to go! I only missed 1 day out of 6 weeks... because of weather.
Of course there is more to my story... but this is stertently enough! 😊🕊 Thank ~ You ❤🐾👍
So shes a teacher and had a thing in medical asst.? Yet still dont sound educated and drunk herself I might add.
Dr. Curry is not only a great surgeon, he’s *also* 🔥🔥🔥
One of, if not the best, neurosurgeons in the country!
When he asked her out and did the head tilt... I hope they work out! That was too cute.
Thank God for the people that work hard to save lives❤️❤️
I l❤o💚v💙e the cocky Dr he's my favorite!!!
Rest In Peace Ron. Your family and friends miss you tremendously.
I'm sorry to hear about Ron, did his cancer return?
OH NO!! His poor son
Are you sure it’s the same Ron Haynes
God bless the men and women who get their lives to save the lives of others. My daughter is a nurse practitioner in the cancer field and she goes through so much.
PS: Whoever did the script for the deaf can’t hear !
You can set the closed caption above by tapping on the CC ( closed caption and turn it on. You can do that for any video. Hope that helps you. Blessings 💙🕊️💙
Dr. Emile Bacha as always humble and thoughtful as attending. Very talented and great teacher. He later joined Columbia University Medical Center in NYC as chief of pediatric surgery and CTS Dept.
Thank you so much for putting these video on here, I like the new show Boston EMS but I really really miss this show
I saw a specialist like Dr.R. ...... first and lasting impression ..... this individual had always been the smartest guy in the room, beginning preschool ..... anyhow ..... he did his thing, doctoring and I did my thing, keeping quiet. You do what you have to do to get things done.
Has the woman been there before for pain meds.I was having severe chest pain I was admitted the nurse would not listen I left no sooner got home the Dr called me begging me to come back my heart was a mess. The nurse got fired .My chest felt like someone was hitting it with a hammer ..Not this hospital I live in a small town .I love this show I wish we had a hospital like this .🙏✌️🤍
Not just the young surgeons that are arrogant, I have dealt with many surgeons due to my medical history, and the older ones are just as arrogant!
18:20 the old man with the right hook SLAP...
5:37 i get that they were also wrong, but this doc, with a 300k scholarship, has lived under a rock. Cannot even handle people. Jeez, if this guy interviews for med school now, he would be rejected from everywhere.
I think he’s phenomenal
I would rather have an arrogant doctor that earned that because I know what the hell they're doing then a humble doctor that doesn't know what the hell he's doing
Was she chewing gum that whole time?
18:16 *sullaahlabitchehnagawehen*
_little crazy in here_
*ayyyayyyyayyeeee*
You get security and have them tell patient n family. Either you go by our rules or you're done. Ppl are ridiculous. I was in for surgery last month n a patient hit a nurse. She got out of her bed looking for her n came in my room..I called another nurse n told her to call police. She got sent to psych ward. Crazy
I studied medicine (drugs) because I became a pharmacy assistant but I would never go up to a nurse or a doctor and say "hey I also work in the medical field so I'm as smart as you". I mean that woman made no sense, medical assistants, as far as I know, they just take blood tests and doctor appointments so she shouldn't be acting so arrogant in front of an actual doctor. And she said her mother had ADHD? What does that have to do with anything about what the doctor was saying? LOL
I admire anyone that works in a hospital, seriously.
the old man with screams like "aaeee...aaaaeeee.....aaaaaeeeeee.....aaaaeeeeeeee" had me going.........also the close up on emergency department sign board 18:09 with the same sound effect truly defines the ER "aaaaaeeeee....aeeeeee......aaaaeeeeeeeee"
If that woman is a "teacher" and also has a "degree in the medical field" why is she unable to pronounce ADD lmao
You will be surprised why she can't. Pronouncing words does not mean you have a education or not.
She has a ‘thing” in medical assistance. Ha Ha Haaaaaaa!
And what do you do smart arse
@@patkelly6349 Wow, it was a justified comment. WTF is YOUR problem?????? TROLL.
@@heatherstewart9300 you I guess and keep yr filthy language to yrself
ADHD does not require narcotics I have it
it was ADD but that dosent require any eather
Exactly! I have it too
Get your narcotics by bullying a doctor.... Because your narcotic addiction is more important than him losing his license.
Dr McDumb...love it
“ This is the first time a guy has ever asked me out” No shit. I dont know any guy who would do it. No offense 😶
fuckin rekt.... that girl was a stuck up bitch.
I have a thing in the medical system LOLOLOL
What woman goes out wearing scrubs? I can’t wait to get them off! And she goes out on a date wearing them. Not great
Want show Boston med come back to TV please NBC josh
I will confirm Dr. El Bardissi's report on BWH's milkshakes: they are AMAZING! But, he isn't really practicing medicine anymore. He's doing a lot of financial and consulting work.
Dr. Reish shouldn't be a doctor. He isn't pleasant and he also doesn't know to communicate with people. Also, if someone is telling you they're in pain you can't feel their pain, therefore you morally have no right to deny their pain management.
Did Miss I Only Drink for Pain's daughter have a speech issue or is that just her accent?
Lol she definitely had some alcohol, not the axcent!
Addicted to this show. !. But some of the Soap of Personal lives need to go !
Nurse Amanda (is that her name? 😂😂🤣🤣) is cute and she’s a trip!
No Pace maker for the kid ?
Your not big man on campus anymore 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Get use to it . Sunshine.🙄
Chewing gum really?
This is why people that need pain med Dont get it
I really hope that lady is not a teacher or works in the medical field.
She probably doesn't and is just lying her ass off.
Pt's history, lab values, with ultrasonography before doing a laparoscopy...
nerves doctor is a risk, he needs to trust the medicine and skill
I had a ventral spinal cord herniation; my SC broke out of the sheath. I was misdiagnosed for 2 years; nearly dying. I sat at home for 4 months while the neurosurgeon put together a “team” of brave surgeons to assist. My diagnosis was one of one hundred known cases in the world. My husband and I cannibalized our life in preparation for the slim chance of me surviving the surgery. I lived and I have struggled to keep going. Not one professional knows how to help me. The procedure damaged my right side-
This American medical show is a lot more personal like talking about dating and such than the shows from other countries. The shows in other countries are more professional just talking about the patients and what they're going through and how the Doctor's and nurses help to save them.
That is how it should be done...
Rip Ron... :(
I understand the appendectomy thing. Had my ovary taken out instead of my appendix. Some first years are just too dumb.
that's fucking nuts.... did you sue?
Did you really?
Linda Vial you have to realize that some organs are more pertinent to survival than others. First years are always accompanied by a chief resident or attending who make the final call. Yes the first year is the one you consult with, but the ultimate decision lies with the person above them. No move is made without a chief or attending.
Appendicitis can be solved with the stitching of the end/partial removal of the appendix which they probably were able to do without removal because it wasn’t septic. A removal isn’t necessary unless it is ruptured which means all the bacteria can spread to other organs and can result in death. Your ovary was probably the main issue when it comes to removal. That move is made only if it is mandatory. An ovary is more vital than an appendix.
Don’t blame the first year because normally they’re coming out of med school with more updated knowledge on new/existing procedures. If you’re typing this comment then that means the appendix wasn’t the main issue. You’d be dead if that were the case. DONT HATE FIRST YEARS! They come out of school understanding patient first, ego last.
I would like to join your group
The malignancy am seeing in surgery. Lucky it was long ago and things have changed
Omg that Dr cute go out with him
I love you amanda ❤
I was worried about the brain surgery patient? Did he lose his sense of smell? He didn’t say
5:35 they are awful and embarrassing themselves. Smh.
1st date on camera not bad...
Pt with tumor on the olfactory in the sinus cavity, he is a Angel/Star. He is non accepting to any manifestations, his body rejected it all. Due to his strong fighting immune system. They should be able to break it down/lysis rather than cutting the whole head open. This type of cancer will not kill him. *BANG *BANG...a star is born.
Ron lost his battle to cancer two years ago.
yes you could have handled it a better I only would have loved for my friend to be in her place lolllllll assuming.......
6:33 - In this type of situation I don't who I feel bad for the most.
The Childs family or the nurses and doctors who are trying to save the childs life.
And that most certainly goes to the top of the list of events I wished I could unsee.
i miss boston
But didn’t she say she DIDN’T want a prescription for narcotics?
Amanda needs to stop chewing gum. Driving me crazy.
Very unprofessional... Drops gum out of mouth into gunshot wound...ewwww
I’m so much like BarDouche
telling him "there is work cool and away from work not cool and you passed" said to him "this chic is psycho"!!
That intern made me laugh 😂 bragging oo I got a 300,000 dollar scholarship, I went to havard, thinks he's better than everyone else, doesn't mean shit in reality, you are still starting at bottom of the totem pole
I love Amanda the RN. Just cracks me up
Hospitals are getting ridiculous with thinking that everyone is drug seeking! I have degenerative disc disease and it's one of the most painful things to live with...my disc in my back are bulging and rupturing and I'm going to need surgery soon..the back specialist said to me I can't even imagine the amount of pain your in but I'm sorry I can't prescribe you any narcotics it's really out of my hands...it's not out of his hands he could have gave me narcotics but he doesn't wanna deal with the laws and what u can prescribe now and how much and how strong...don't get me wrong I understand where he's coming from but at the same point I live in constant pain every day all the time and trust me I'm not exaggerating at all I'm I'm pain 24/7..it's like u pretty much have to be dying these days in order to get pain meds..it's not fair for people like me all over this world who really need pain meds and are not addicts but yet we can't get any help...but yet I have seen drug addicts who can go to their doctor and put on a great act and can get very strong narcotics it's just not right!! I'm not talking bad about drug addicts cause my sister has been addicted to pain pills since she was 19 and she's now 47..addiction is the hardest thing in this world to overcome! But anyways I just think doctors need to stop treating people like me like we are just drug seeking and just trying to get pills cause we must be an addict!! I'm so tired of it not everyone is an addict and there are millions of people who really have bad pain like me and we can't get help..there's no cure for degenerative disc disease and my back will only get worse and I will need several different surgeries until they can no longer operate and I end up in a wheelchair and have to have someone take care of me 24/7 and even then I still probably won't be able to get pain meds then!
I totally feel for you. I can imagine a little bit of what you are going through. I recently had surgery for a bone spur growing through my C7 nerve and bulging disc. It took 9 months to diagnose. Praying that you get answers and relief soon! Don't be afraid of surgery there is some relief on the other side. Pain yes, long recovery yes, but also relief. Narcotics are tricky. They help but also have a lot of adverse side effects that are not worth it. It so agonizing when nothing is helping though.
Mr. $300,000 Harvard scholarship Very clearly assumed she wanted narcotics. You could see his eye roll.
Unfortunately he demonstrated how anyone a lot of gets treated when they are in pain in the ED, and even out of it. She didn’t even want narcotics. Not everyone is “drug seeking”, and sometimes the seekers are in real pain.
I know it has much more to the business side of the hospital, but a small amount of medicine is compassionate.
I think he’s great. Brilliant and handled those two ignorant women perfectly

Nurse Amanda is beautiful!
I cannot stress how many times I’ve wanted to say, “no I’m making that face because I ordered an ultrasound yesterday which you disapproved of”, but I’ve had to bite my lip so I don’t get thrown out of the room for hurting the doctors ego. Being an intern BLOWS ASS. ESPECIALLY when someone is trying to make me seem incompetent by saying, “no your gallbladder is on the other side”. BITCH. The SECOND you stand up for yourself they run to internal investigations, yet you have no proof because the altercation was verbal. It makes me SO mad because I’m looking out for the patient, not the doctors ego
I don't disagree with you. What I don't approve of is either doctors comments in front of the patient.
Fukobama
She hemorraged herself 'To death'. So she either died and they brought her back or ... she is literally the walking dead!
And what is with the daughter? took her 10 mins to pronounce 'Alcohol, cannot string three letters together, some people are just plain annoying!
That intern needs a lesson in bedside manners and to not be assuming things about patients smh. He could have said yes I can give you something for pain and list off the non narcotic med...usually toradol. Dont just assume someone is a drug seeker or something.
29:39 He asks him if he knows his name...
Later: "He knows my name"...
Plot twist: His name was printed on his shirt. 🤦
31:33 Why would you say “the case” to a patient???
He does not inspire confidence
He exhibits no confidence in his abilities
And they’re placing bets? HUH? Unprofessional
If I was this patient and I saw this, I would NOT be happy
I do NOT pass gas 42 times a day. thats a ;lot of farting lol
It's okay to admit it, you only passed gas 40 times... LOL 😆
HE IS BETTER LOOKING HAN OB!!!
Amenda is not my favorite 😒
18:18 💀
I like this show, but, I never want to hear any of the plastipop music ever again. I didn't want to hear it this time, even...
This would be a much better series without all the cheesy music and personal life stuff.
This hospital just reminds me of scrubs, seriously! I work in a UK hospital and we would never get away with half the stuff these do. Quite unprofessional by UK standards in my opinion.
Bwahahaha
I definitely wouldn't want Richard Reish to be my doctor. His bedside manner is awful and he comes off like he's so superior to everyone else.
He’s the doctor so what should he do
@@charliekleiman1165 That's simple. He should stop acting like a douchebag.
