Nice work sir! Always a sign of a professional to see the drop cloth come out, and cleaning up afterwards. Not to mention the excellent installation :-)
Very nice. Yes, I have cut the bar to short before. Lol. Your next call will be to install a door closer on that door as there is always the few people that won't bother closing it after they are finished.
I have to do 6 of these tomorrow, just getting a refresher course from watching this video. On the frame do you drill a 7/8" or 1" hole for the deadbolt. I got wooden doors but hollow metal frames and my boss says a 1" hole will cause the door to wobble. He also wants me to use a router instead of chisel. I told him I'll use the router on the new doors but the chisel on the old beat up doors, lol.
Ken _ as long as the handle latch catches correctly it won’t wobble. Also is there even a 7/8 bimetal hole saw available? I also use router for nicer doors when needed :) good luck with the install! I’ve got 4 regular wood/wood deadbolt installs on a house today so I’ll be drilling too! Don’t cut your tailpiece too short!
Another great video Jason, thanks for sharing this 😊 Have you done one where it is an external deadbolt and security strike (wooden door/frame, not the metal/squeezeplay one)?
No sponsor?... TopRated Will sponsor you till they see your vid on them!😆 Nice clean install, good to see you clean up, that was something I was strict on.🍺😎
13:23 Turn the bevel side of the chisel down. It gives you more control of depth of cut and clearance from the work. Raise or lower the handle to the work to make the chisel cut deeper or more shallow. And huuuurry uuuuuuuup! I gotta pee! *fidget
@@selock I searched for “how to use HPC EBM easy backset marker” and surprisingly, nothing came up. I know it’s a simple tool but that’s a possible video idea. I thought I understood it but then got one and was like, uh why are there so many notches? And why on both top and bottom? 🤣

Always nice, wish these were more common.
Sounds like you have either walked in on someone taking a dump, had someone walk in on you, or possibly both.
Getting ready to install a couple at the office of the company I work for. 🤠 Great job 👍

Nice install.👍
If they cause leg cramps I would not mess with them. It looks like it was installed when the door was put in.
This must be the men’s bathroom. The seat is up lol
