Hey Hayden, I remember when you used to play in red and white for sac republic. You were phenomenal. I was just wondering, what was it like being apart of the academy and what was it like being apart of the first team? I also aspire to be there one day so do you have any tips?
Thank you!! I really enjoyed my time in Sacramento Republic academy, I was coached by a lot of top level coaches and it prepared me for when I eventually signed with the first team. I loved playing for Sacramento Republic, it was my first professional team and I was very fortunate for the way my career started there.
If I had one thing to say to aspiring professionals, it would be to simply just work hard. There’s going to be a lot of times when things aren’t going your way, you’re not playing, and much more. But at the end of the day, it’s a long journey and there will be plenty of ups and downs. Believe in yourself!!

I don't know... I wouldn't say many weird things have happened to me but the craziest was my experience of going to Saudi Arabia. I never thought I would've gone there in my life and I went this year for preseason for 3 weeks.
