Hey my loves! As promised, there’s a new entry of Momdates whoop!! 💃🏽💃🏽This video was originally about 2 hrs long. Yep! I talked for that long lol. Thanks for being a safe space for me to truly express how I feel at all times. Let me know if this resonates with you in anyway, you know I absolutely loveeee to see your thoughts! All my love 💕
You're such an eloquent speaker and story teller. I'm no where near having a baby but I literally watched so attentively like I'm expecting or something.
PINK This was definitely enlightening❤. I'm 27 years old, in a relationship, but I have no idea when I'm going to be a mother. Yet pregnancy scares me, I literally have goosebumps when I encounter pregnant women. Having someone talk about her experience with so much love and truth, I must say that I'm convinced that the journey, though not the smoothest journey there is, is worth it. Thank you so much Marycolette for the Momdates series, you're impacting way more than you think. God bless you, God bless Ilo, God bless Heaven, God bless your mom❤.
I wish I could like this a billion times Priscilla 🥺 This is exactly one of the reasons I started Momdates and seeing your comment brought me so much joy! It is absolutely worth it and you’re sooooo welcome Priscilla! 🫂💗💗💗
Okay, I'm commenting for the first time, yay😊. My breastfeeding journey for my first child, was traumatizing, i didn't lactate on time, i took drugs recommended by Doctor, the midwife came once in a while pressing my breast, it was painful, it was just little that came out😢. Got home, so much pressure by everyone to breastfeed the baby, my nipples became sore and started bleeding 😭, they still told me to go ahead 😭. I felt depressed, i felt hated, like nobody cared about me or how i felt 😢. Gosh! It was too much
I’ve been enjoying this entries so far from you MC,as a teenager I think I’m privileged to learn about this at an earlier stage. You’re such a great Mom having to grow through all this because some people will still be rotting behind the scenes and maybe just never show up but thank you for sharing and also kudos to the world best Dad(Ilo). PINK💗💗💗
Getting pregnant and the thought of having a baby one day also scares me a lot. Thank you so much MC for this insightful video, I really learnt a lot. PINK!!!!💕💕💕
First of all, PINK!!!! Now second, this was so enlightening, thank you so so much for sharing. And I know you said we’re the best o but really, who are you kidding? because you MC, are the actual BEST! Our “best” is learning work where yours is and you make our “being the best” too easy😉💕
pink this was so insightful.... I have been dreading getting pregnant because I felt I'm not mentally ready and this video just affirms it even further. but hopefully when the time is right
PINK PINK PINK oh my…. This video popped up randomly and yes you just got a like and a subscriber. Yours has to be the first I watched without skipping nothing. Thank you so much for sharing your experience so closely, it’s means so much to some who are yet to even conceive and still has alot of fear of this process you definitely inspire so much courage. PS; if I look like you 6months after having a baby, I’d probably never leave the front of my camera 😂 😂.. you look amazing and your baby’s name is so beautiful 🥰 God bless you for this 🙏🏿
Wow!!! MC, your courage to share all what you did is really appreciated…I mean this is truly a real and raw video. Definitely noted several points for the future pregnant/ mother me! Looking forward to your next video. PINK💞💓

Pink!!! January this year makes it one year I had a myomectomy and I can relate to not wanting visitors at the hospital. Infact I didn't tell people the name of the hospital I was in until I was discharged. Thanks for sharing. All the points are deep and very educative 🤍
You’re welcome Vivian! Yeah surgery is no joke and having visitors right after was the ghetto for me lol. You live and you learn right!? Also, how’d your surgery go and hope you’re feeling much better? 💗💗🫂
PINK🤭💕 I enjoyed this video!!! Watching your videos and having a meal>>>🥹 your voice is so therapeutic. I took notes even though I’m not planning on having a baby anytime soon😂👍 Thanks for sharing your tips!
Pink... This is very insightful and it is real for MC to be dropping yotuba in between, i am like grab a book and biro. You are really mommying well. Welldone mummy Heaven. You look beautiful as always 🥰
I totally agree with what you said , all those yelling and knocking on the head or being rude to women in labour, is abuse! Being a nurse/midwife, who also has a nurse/midwife as a mom, I see her emphasise on the need to be empathetic, rub the woman's back, be present for her
It is one of the most vulnerable time of a woman’s life and I can’t even imagine anything less than empathy and kindness being shown on her. God bless your mom! She’s absolutely right
Thank God for my husband on this Journey, this man is literally the one shopping for stuff and I don’t even know what he has or hasn’t bought but I know he has gotten a whole lot, also I was thinking about the clothes for baby after he comes I just order for some clothes as he grows this is to help me reduce how much clothes the child would have dunno if that make sense although we got clothes that would last first one or 2months with my location I can shop and it gets delivered next day.
Very true💯 My husband had to go and buy newborn clothes few days after she was born bcos I was embarrassed with wearing oversized clothes for a newborn 😅 My mum was the only one that told me to buy few newborn clothes😅
I am thankful for the mama that bought new born clothes for me as gifts because I was beyond embarrassed! My child was basking in super super super over sized wears😂

Ran so fast to watch this I nearly fell 😅
I would say avoid “newborn” clothes and buy 0-3 months.
I Nigeria, what they classify as “newborn” is actually 0-3 months clothes.

Your Yoruba is too good😂😂😂😂😂
