Wow thank you guys SO MUCH for the info...you've made my job so much EASIER for our upcoming trip to HK & Bali. My wife & I will also be staying at HK Icon & a villa in Bali 👍🏼😉
Oh wow, perfect!! Same as us! You will lovvvvvve your honeymoon. It was such a cool combination. Relaxation, beaches, and villas in Bali and then big city adventures in Hong Kong. You'll get to have the best of both worlds.
We have just returned from our Asian 2 month trip . We spent time in Hong Kong , for the sixth time and still found it a impressive city. It's a special place in my eyes but it has changed a little s since 1997 . I hope Hong Kong never dies.
Yooooo ima huge fan. All your videos are professional af, topics discussed, quality etc all A1. You for real need to be a host on a Travel Channel show.
0:50 as a Hongkonger, Chinese white dolphins don't live in Victoria Harbour but live in the far west side of Hong Kong (Tai O), so riding fast ferries in Victoria Harbour won't do harm to them ☺️
There's an outlet at the subway station where the cable kart going up to the Buddha is located at. Its a good place for a bit of shopping for larger size cloths. Their food court is interesting too where they have different stations for different cuisine. You also would want to buy your cable kart ticket online as the line there can get quite long. The glass floor karts are more expensive but worth it for seeing the mountains below. And those odd structures you see on those mountains are ancestral graves if anyone's wondering.
Thank you so much for posting this video! My husband and I will be in Hong Kong in October and I had nooo idea there was so much to see. This is super helpful and informative!
Lisa Brooks I was the same way at first! I never realized how much there was to do in Hong Kong either until I went 💙 I hope you and your husband have an amazing time.
I rarely comment on youtube videos but i must say thus one was so efficient and streamlined - it doesnt waste a single second of your time... thank you.. very straight to the point..
Oh... but the walla walla operating in Tai O is actually another threat. Because they do not follow the dolphin watching code of conduct. And could potentially harm the dolphins with their speed boats. There are other dolphin watching companies that follow the dolphin watching code of conduct.
I like how you can put a lot of things together in just about 10min in such a wonderful way! 😍 It looks attractive and fun to explore! And informative ✌️👍
Thanks for this very good video for introducing our place. If you like hiking, we have plenty of trails esp the MacLehose no.2 which can oversee the beautiful coastal lines and the sea surrounding HK.
Everybody! Besides shopping, don't miss the precious countryside of Hong Kong, over 80% of HK are still green (under 20% contents in promotion). I suggest (Tai O in Lantau island, Bo Tau O at Sai Kung, Tai Tam Reservoir at HK island and Lamma island), also all the Hong Kong walking trails are especially good for you. And... nobody knew that HK has the most precious toys collectors in the world.
I absolutely loved this video of Hong Kong it's was super helpful for tips on the best places to go as I will only be in Hong Kong for 6 days after moving on to Australia for 2 weeks. Did you find Hong Kong to be very expensive? because I know some cities in Asia are pretty affordable. I would just like to get an idea of how much money I should bring. Thanks again for the super helpful video! I can't wait to visit this magical place 🇭🇰✈️
-Star ferry, the peak tram and the tram along HK island north shore are the three must ride remaining heritage transportations. -Walk along Lugard road for 270degrees unobstructed view of HK from the Peak......so disappointed that most tourists are unaware of this scenic route . Save your money for that 90 degree limited view tourist trap on peak tower. -Hike along Jardines lookout for ultimate sunset of the harbour. Dragonback and lion rocks are well known. Sai Kung and Ma on Shan are good for long distance hiking. Lantau has the ultimate tranquility for those who wants to escape from everything. -eating good west/ pussy (cantonese slang meaning trying out good food) -get onto any of the rooftop bars in HK for breathtaking skyscraper views
Great video, pretty much all the things i would recommend for tourist. Actually im from hong kong and could recommend a few more places good for instagram such as Yick Cheong Building, Instagram Pier, Sai Wan Swimming Shed and others. Also, Dragons back is one of the best walk in hong kong too. If next time you would like to visit HK again, Im happy to show you more things Hong Kong had to offer and couldn't find in other cities.
PLEASE NOTE: Although large ferry traffic is a large factor in endangering the pink dolphins the main culprits are small commercial boats like the one in this video! The creators may not have known this but these boats cause a lot of oil spills and pollution right where the dolphins are! The companies who control the boats do not care about the dolphins only the profit from tourist tours!
Geetika Mukhopadhyay Hahahahaha hahaha!!! 😂😂😂 I'm laughing so hard right now because it's so true. That's his happy place and was probably the highlight of our time in Hong Kong.
As a born and raised Hong Konger I'm so happy you didn't just cover the food, nightlife, shopping etc but also the nature side of HK (and really well) too!
MF Thank you! 🙏🏽 I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I thought it was important to highlight how beautiful HK's nature is. I think many people don't realize how mountainous it is 💙
This is only a quarter of what Hong Kong has to offer...in Saikung you can do alot of water sports (try out a yacht club called hebe haven [yacht club] it is a bit pricey, but it is pretty good) Ocean park and Disney land are pretty good tourist attractions (I recommend ocean park for those who seek thrilling rides because most of the rides are really high and near or literally built from the ground up from a deep drop) I could list more, but that would bore you out--care to explore for yourself?
If you're looking for Electronics and games in Hong Kong, Sham Shui Po is a better place than in Mongkok. Locals like me seldom go to Mongkok Computer Centre. The one known as Golden Computer Centre in Sham Shui Po is four times larger than that. And the price is relatively cheaper. Even Japanese tourist came to buy Switch console🤣🤣
Wow thank you guys SO MUCH for the info...you've made my job so much EASIER for our upcoming trip to HK & Bali. My wife & I will also be staying at HK Icon & a villa in Bali 👍🏼😉

How was Icon Hotel??
I love how you narated everything, your voice is clear, calming and audible!
"I only ran into a few locals, and they were all very friendly..."
That´s a real good one, when you´re out there!
We have just returned from our Asian 2 month trip . We spent time in Hong Kong , for the sixth time and still found it a impressive city. It's a special place in my eyes but it has changed a little s since 1997 . I hope Hong Kong never dies.

Great video!! Love how you raised awareness about the threats the high speed ferries pose to the dolphins :)
Oh... but the walla walla operating in Tai O is actually another threat. Because they do not follow the dolphin watching code of conduct. And could potentially harm the dolphins with their speed boats. There are other dolphin watching companies that follow the dolphin watching code of conduct.
mandycxxxxxx so depressing 😔 I wish they cared more. It'd be nice if the government could regulate it.

Lion Rock is also one of the challenging but rewarding hikes in HK. For an easy and equally nice hike, I suggest Dragon Back or Lugard Road!
My hometown. Seeing it from a tourist point of view is so amazing!
I like how you can put a lot of things together in just about 10min in such a wonderful way! 😍 It looks attractive and fun to explore! And informative ✌️👍

How much was your budget for the whole trip? Planning to go there soon just wanna know how much was the budget!
Nice coverage of HK sites. I will do the free Lion Hike next time for a different vantage point of the island.
Travel Richie That vantage point was the best I experienced while I was there. I think you will really enjoy it 💙
