Oh boy I really had the southern twang going on the radio that day. I work Atlanta terminal frequently on the extra board (I'm the dispatcher in the background). The videos are appreciated 👌
I (Tried) filming trains in the snow once. Before it snowed I thought "I can handle this, this will be easy!" Lets just say, it wasn't how I planned it!😂 Nice Video Though! 👍👍👍 Keep'em Coming!
Should submit that ns power in snow photo to the ns calander. I got a railfan friend's photo in BNSF railway 2013 calander when I worked as a trainmaster there.
@@v12productions Thanks so much, Yep I'm out there every week,I sure do enjoy your videos and thanks again for the info on the ECO Units Slugs I certainly didn't know that the Slugs didn't have an engine just the traction motors, wow that was very interesting,I see the NS ECO Units at Bridge all the time.
Nice video. It was about 25 degrees here in Greenville, SC at that time, and it stuck. It was around 6". Fortunately, they blew the forecast - it was supposed to be a trace to 1" of snow, then .50" to 1" 0f ICE. We would be in a mess right now if that had happened.
My former friend in Atlanta in 1991 says snow there is so rare that most Atlanteans, already very poor drivers, have no idea how to drive when it snows.
Great video! It's always neat seeing and filming trains in the snow. The only time I've filmed in the snow was back in February 2020 in Duluth. I've filmed in the rain before so usually I just hold my umbrella over my camera.
awesome
GREAT VIDEO!!I love watching trains in inclement weather. AWESOME!!
You’re welcome! 👍 We sent this weather down to you from Missouri. 😬 Who doesn’t Like 👍 Snow ? ❄️ ⛄️

That lone P42 and coach were there for equipment issues

Good job.
8 inches up here in Western NC 😁🌨️❄️🌨️❄️🌨️ awesome video .
Whoa! Thanks!
As an active amateur astronomer ... the best way to keep the lens dry is to use a very long lens baffle in front of the lens.
Resident of Whittier mill village, you can sometimes find me camped out by these tracks around 1am train watching. Same goes for cp bridge.
Thanks for enduring the cold and wet snow for our enjoyment. We were supposed to get some snow here in MS as well, but got only rain.
Nice job Charlie! I chased NS 211 in the snow from Buford to Suwanee. It was a very fun day. Keep up the good work!
The Cresent stops in Gainesville at 12:30 on the way up to New York and at 07:30 on the way to New Orleans.
Thanks dude!
Nice!
Very cool weather rail video with the snow falling and some very cool catches for sure.
Great video of the Crescent rolling through the snow. I always love seeing her pass.
Thanks!
Enjoyed the beautiful scenic views of this video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I don't know why I love slugs but to me they're cool.
Nice! Another video.
Thanks!

Thanks! It's not too hard in Atlanta because it warms up and doesn't last long.
Nice camera work.
A bit more north of Atlanta like powder Springs, the snow was really sticking. In Duluth it looked like a winter wonderland
The snow came early it usually snow in February and does anyone miss the Georgia dome
Amazing video keep up the good work man
Thanks!

Excellent Job and Great Video, I wished I was out that day but I stayed at home,I could hear the trains running through Douglasville.
Thanks!
@@v12productions Your Welcome and we met at Bridge that time when there was a Derailment.
@@dd.greenefilms2598 Of course! I'll bet I'll see you out there at some point again. I do a lot of railfanning in that area.

This is something I've never been able to do which is film trins in the snow

This is true.

Thanks man! I've used the umbrella method before too!
I thought what your calling flashing eot is actually called F.R.E.D aka flashing rear end device
What are the " slugs "?
Hey Charlie, Did you catch the Crescent on Feb 8th with the Babbling Brook and another UP Pullman car on the tail end?
Sadly, I missed those.
I was surprised. Seems like AMTRAK reversed the policy on private varnish on their trains...
What kind of unit is that green NS 895?
It's called a Slug. It has traction motors, but no diesel engine. It's powered by the "mother unit" that it's connected to.
Jan 16 was my birthay
Happy birthday!
