In Brazil where I come from, people are used to taking part of the decoration as a favor. So the decor is rented, they have to warn people about it, or it will disappear. lol Centerpieces are usually what people expect to take home.
Lol the favour graveyard hurts me so much! Once assisted on a wedding where the couple had bought 120 individual cacti for each person. They were left in a big pile. I went home with 6 on the couple's request to get rid of them!
Oh gosh... that is so upsetting! The favour graveyard is heartbreaking but sadly very common :( There were shot glasses left over after my last wedding!
Would you / are you giving favours to guests at your wedding? Share below as I'd love to know.
I planned to give a candle but I’m having second thoughts. 🤔

I am so on the fence about whether to give favours or not
same! it's a big part of our culture, but at the same time, I'm on a TIGHT budget.
I recently saw on Instagram a Nigerian couple gave away a Lexus and some mobile phones
It's amazing what couples can and will give away! Did or would you give favours to guests?
I don’t want to give them as I think they’re a waste of money. Sigh. I’ll see what my mum says as what she says goes cuz of the cultural tradition.
