In the gray section bonuses are earned during the game for completing columns. At the end of the game, each row in the gray section scores, depending on the number of checked off boxes in each row.
I scored 320 in a game of that’s pretty clever. You got to keep playing to get good. Big chains and strategic +1 bonus use are the key.... and you should get at least 3 foxes min. Twice as clever I barely can score over 100... I’ve played it only 3 times though.

How do you hit close to 300 pretty consistently in That's so Clever?
I tend to get around 244 every time. I want to go to the next level.
