Recently some hifi guests ( I call them phekoo) who are shudd desi swear by pasta, macron and like food. Had come to my niece's house who were here mother in laws friends.
They were served rabella ( I think jasmine flower )jo sharbet made by my 80 plus years mother given her grand daughter.
Upon drinking it . They just freaked out and request ed my mother through my niece
Get made it for them. and they were willing to pay ₹ 1000 /- plus bottle of 700 ml and they wanted in huge qty.
Ps were telling my mother to start business as she is a fantastic cook and could become tycoon as she is fantastic cook vouched by all.
On the other hand it was very good moral booster for. mother and we were all very very proud of her and overjoyed. For her ...

Yes, we go for our wedding shopping at Ulhasnagar many times. Japani Bazar and Gajanand Market. The variety and designs you get there are unique with reasonable rates. Food is awesome 😍

I can suggest you to explore some unique food preps that are exclusive to sindhi cuisine like lotus stem cutlets(or beh ji tikki),dal sandwich,black matar pav,sindhi burger etc.
For saibhaji, hardasmal rest. Which u visited even is good n koki is hard to find on street but will try if i could find one...

I won't go through the archives of history, it's joyful as well as painful too. As you rightly said, Sindhi food is not limited to just "Dal Pakwaan", Woah 😨 the varities are truly amazing, delicious 😋👌 and mind blowing., Above all its favourite of the we'll known chefs too, Including Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Chef Ranveer Brar, Chef Bharat Khemnani, Chef Roshni Gurnani and many a more. Sindhi food dishes are not that easy to prepare 😅😅 hence you won't find that easily as Chinese, Thai, Moghlai etc... I love Sindhi Kadi Chawal, Thuk Batata, Sahi Bhaji, Koki, Dal Pakwaan, Alu Tikki and so many more, in sweets , Ghevar, Sanghar ji Mithai, Sahi Barfi (Green/Pista), Maalpua, Jalebi, Sev Bhundi.. bus bus I'm literally drooling 😅😅😅

During Sindhi weddings this "Mohanthal" was one which I used to relish a lot a lot and lot lot more 😅😅😅 There was one more bhaji my late Mom used to prepare "Bhee alu ki subji" , (Lotus Cucumber/Kamal kakdi)

Mohan was a halwai from Karachi....and he discovered this mohan thal . He made this sweet in thali , therefore the dish name is mohanthal....
Gujrati mohanthal is different. I have shown it in my recent Dadar street food video. Sindhi mohanthal ka look hi different hai. Bahut sari dishes aisi hoti hai jo alag alag regions me alag recipe se banayi jati hai par unka naam same hota hai. For eg Maharashtrian Puranpoli made from chana dal and Gujarati puranpoli made from tur dal.
