As Special Advisor to the Windrush Lessons Learned Review, Professor Dame Sandra Dawson saw the importance of hearing firsthand from victims.
As an expert on organisational behaviour and leadership, she knows that good leaders ensure a variety of perspectives are ‘in the room’: ‘We need to listen to the voices of those who are not like us.’

Professor Dame Sandra Dawson is KPMG Professor Emerita at Cambridge Judge Business School. She was Director of Cambridge Judge Business School from 1995 to 2006, Master of Sidney Sussex College from 1999 to 2009 and one of the Deputy Vice Chancellors of the University of Cambridge from 2008 to 2012.
