Tips I have:
when switching or if you happen to find a fury motor/radiator, put in it or save it and if you do want to use the fury motor and radiator because the fury motor is the most powerful in the game.
Also,
Everytime you're about to crash pause, save and reaload if you dont want to spend 30 plus mins finding your parts.

Also you can kinda fly up a wall by spamming forward jump and crouch to get to high points it works really well.

If you want to find more buried stuff.
Then sit on something go to 3rd person and move you camera into the terrain it will allow you to see all the buried stuff since the game still shows the models.

always keep a sponge on or in your cars dashboard. It will really help.
I know this from personal experiences.
Also the jizz on it can clean anything except radiators. It can clean tires too. Sponges are the same they just take longer.

There is a setting to have crate parts melt away after being broken, you should enable it, will help with the frame rate.

Keep the shovel, but forget the metal detector, the stuff usually pokes through the ground anyway.
Also Jimmy has a collision toggle, when you hit r you can phase it through things. Same thing on pallets and a few other objects.
Right after you started driving I was like. Wait isn’t it right side is right way.

You could may take some of those front light things from the bug that you didn't like a whole lot and attach them to the front as spikes or whatever, and use those steel bars as a brushguard.
Note: that Machine Gun, I believe it a M2 Browning from WW2. I believe it shots .50 Cals.

You should mount multiple guns on the truck and I think you actually also get a mod that allows you to break apart stops with the machine gun
