Мишень 31" x 31", около метра, метал AR500, толщина 1/4" Купил на Новый год на e-bay. Мишень способна выдерживать калибр 308 на настоянии 500 ярдов и больше. Почему толщина одна четвертая дюйма, хотя можно и толще? Это для того чтобы можно было одному поднять её и повестить. С возрастом всё сложнее. Ширина мишени позволяет увидеть и корректировать попадания пули через оптику до километра. Потом мираж уже мешает, но слышно звон гонга, видно движение мишени и шрапнель разлетающуюся в песок. Моя мишень на расстоянии мили выдержала удары калибра 338 Lapua Magnum и даже 416. Хотя остались лёгкие вмятины. Но было очень приятно потому, что по моей новой мишени стреляли Чемпионы США Короли двух миль. Вмятины потом я выровнял молотком. Для стрельбы на расстоянии до 500 ярдов, я использую гонг 12" толщиной 2/3". Тот же метал. Но толще. Чем смог, тем помог. На здоровье!

What kind of condition is the barrel in? Any pitting?
My first original barrel was terrible, in this time I can shoot 25-50 yards to target. I got second barrel with receiver on Gunbroker.com it was better quality. Also I am reloading my ammo. This is help me with accuracy.

How far will the mosin and svt40 reach out.
Hi! About SVT-40 Tokarev I don't know, This is semi automatic rifle... It is similar like SVD Drugunov. SVT Barrel is 24.6" long SVD twist Barrel is 1:12" or 1;9.5" They both "accurate" up to 800 meters with lighth bullets 147 gr. Bolt action Mosin Nagant can hit target at one mile... Rifle twist 1:9.5" barrel 29" long... but only if you have perfect ammo heavy bullets 180 or 182 gr... and better optic around 5-15x30 or more.
So many of those rifles sold for like 60-80$ in America and alot were with shot out barrels. Thus it became known as the shit stick. But a few people bought good examples of that rifle and they are hard core fans.

I made my self. It connected to rifle stock thru hole for gun belt.
What weight bullet are you using?
7.62x54R - 174 gr PPU, 180 PPU. 174 gr Hornady 303 British .311, 180gr Sierra 303 British .311

@@vaninec Интересненько... Но я бы не рискнул стрелять из семидесятилетней винтовки пулями другого калибра. Винтовка, на видео, с дистанции 50 ярдов на 20 сантиметров выше стандартного заводского прицела. Скорость 170 gr пули 2595 FPS давление увеличивается, ствол изнашивается, гильза деформируется или трескается. Я бы хотел взглянуть на использованную гильзу и капсуль чтобы понять результат. У меня хороший результат получился с пулями калибра 303 Br. 174 gr .3105 Hornady. 2630 FPS, Спасибо за идею.

Калибр не другой а как раз.
Обычно берут свинец грузик от удочки и проталкивают через ствол (barrel slugging). Ствол нужно обильно смазать.

20см выше на 50 метров то это значит винтовка пристрелена на 150 метров

I don't think so, Swedish Mauser cal 6.5x55 one of the best.
You are too CONSERVATIVE.. reload and push to 890m/s.. I like the muzzle brake, but I use a 'Scout mount' and 2-6x.. so I can still use strippers. Did you know that the Russian Winchester 1894 stripper loads 4 into the magazine and the last has to go into the chamber.. Anyway it is a silly gun.. unless in carbine form.
Thank you for information. I read American Mosin was remade for 30-06 cal. My cheap scope made for "Scout Mount" with 7.5" eye relief. I bended bolt and moved the scope closer to my eye with long mount without drilling any holes on action.. I like comfort and classic.
mosin is better than mauser 8mm
