Hi Domiano. I appreciate your tutorials. I have just purchased a TB-3 and following along with your videos. However, what I have noticed with my patterns when synced to a DAW and playing is, if the first step of the pattern is clear as in this video, the TB-3 throws a random note on the first step. Swing is zero and it doesn't matter what tempo is playing. This throws the beat of the pattern out. If the pattern has a note on the first step, everything plays fine. Also, if I play the pattern from the TB-3 without DAW everything plays fine. I am wondering if this is a latency problem with my system or a fault on my TB-3 with the clock/sync. It is a little frustrating as I cannot have the first step clear and I cannot see what could be causing this in my DAW settings. Would you, or perhaps another viewer, know a fix or what could be causing this issue? Regards, Dave.
Hi Dave, good question but I'm really sorry cause I can't help. I don't use Daw in my setup so I don't know how to solve this kind of bug. Hope some viewer could be nice to help you. Regards✌🏻
@@DamianoPistoia Hi Damiano. Thanks for the reply. In my search to find an answer to my question, I came across this video on UA-cam, showing the same issue I am having. ua-cam.com/video/BYKoutmZbO0/v-deo.html 'Roland Aira TB-3 Bug. As can be seen from 1:35 mark, a sequence with blank step 1 plays OK using TB-3 internal clock, but when connected to an external clock/sync using midi, a random note is sometimes played on step 1, throwing the pattern out. As this video is six years old, and I only bought my TB-3 3 three months ago, I am wondering why this hasn't been addressed by Roland. I am thinking of taking this up from the shop I purchased from to see if they can find an answer or to see if I have a faulty unit. Thanks again for your help. Regards Dave.
That helped a lot Sensei!!! 🖖
