I know this is the manage version, but it's crap compared to the 90s version. I felt nothing for this, but seeing her stuggle and having her dead friends support her in spirit will just be a better way of storytelling and excitement

First, I'm not referring to the Moonlight Densetsu song, but the soundtrack as a whole. Absolutely all OSTs are incredibly memorable - Tuxedo Mask theme, Luna theme, Moon Prism Power, Moon Tiara and in general any background song. Also, I disagree about Moonlight Densetsu. It's definitely not Sailor Moon best song, but it's light years better than the English version, which is just a thrash remix of it with weird baby voices and dumb preschool lyrics. I'm a new Sailor Moon fan and watched the original and Crystal around the same time, so don't blame me for being nostalgic. And in general, just listen to Makenai or Moon Revenge, name me at least one Crystal song that compares to them.@@JoseRodriguez-eo6bl

All these melodies are incredible and memorable from the first notes. Crystal Ost is basically just "epic" choral music that isn't memorable. Just listen to Moon Revenge or Makenai and try to name me at least one Crystal song that could compare to them.
Actually it is not disappointing. Different. Cause guardians gave up her life to reawaken Princess Serenity inside of Metallia. And after that Sailor Moon was guided by Love / Golden Crystal of Mamoru! In here she had to overcome her fear and of course I finally saw the true brilliance of the Moon - something I always missed in the original the true great power of the moon itself.
After all this was what Naoko created and published in the manga, and it was just brought to us in a magnificent final battle with the sailors' sacrifices, Usagi's strong will and a stunning soundtrack...but yeah let's call it lame, why not, apparently it's a trend...
@@Sailor.Twilight The problem here is not Naoko's story, it is the cheaply and poorly done animation. They could've done a lot better with this, like A HECK of a lot better!
@@philhenderson3516 Okay this is your opinion and I respect that, but I also think giving these universal and ultimate comments whose final aim seems to be denigrating the show is what made Crystal receive such a poor treatment from Toei and get a worse animation and a poor lenght like in Eternal and Cosmos. Personally I loved the s1-2 animation (some errors were also fixed in the bluray), the visual effects are a hundred times more modern and more magical respect to the '90 anime, as times changed of course. And to be honest in the '90 anime you can also clearly see many many animation errors, moreover there were multiple graphics who drew the faces, some were better and some were way worse, but I'm not going to denigrate it or say it sucks as it is no use and only throws hate on it
@@Sailor.Twilight The 90's did also have many errors, but you can tell they did the most that they could with the limited budget at the time. You could tell there was a lot of effort and passion put behind every frame, every scene and the animation was on point for the most part. I think Crystal did a great job with the Pharaoh 90 arc, they went above and beyond with it. But everything that came before it was atrocious! Cosmos also had a lot of potential, they got many things right, the story itself even improved over the manga in some areas, but the overall animation and how rushed it felt was a major disappointment.

Sailor moon points a mssive flashlight at a cloud and gets some random guy to save her. No message of friendship, kindness or duty towards her friends who died so save her. Trash

I also love how her bond with Luna is shown in this scene. Also, in this version, her friends also died for her. And lol? Random guy? Did you even watch it?

Don't forget that she's only 14 years old and doesn't have much experience as a Senshi yet, plus she had to kill her boyfriend with her own hands... I don't think many adults could handle that, let alone a child. She did it on emotions. Also, I suggest you watch the new Cosmos movie (Crystal Season 5) to see how much Usagi has grown over time. I mean, she (SPOILER!!!) literally lost everything she loved, all her friends, her love, and even her future daughter, but she still didn't give up and fought to the end for the future of this universe.

is this final battle from season 1 remake? If so, can't even compare with original. Very dissapointing.
But that's the original battle that happened in the Manga, Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of sailor, wrote/drew this battle herself
