Unlike all the replies above, i think you don't necessarily have to experience the struggles yourself to be understand other people's struggles. It's called Empathy, look it up.
Unlike other artists like Juicewrld, etc who only writes about their own experiences, Takayan is most likely just a great empath. After all, I doubt Takayan had experienced struggling with period pains, right? Why else would he make a song about girls having periods then?

Love how Takayan also acted the viewer's (anyone listening to Takayan's music, basically us) point of view too and showed how the viewer was happy when they were listening to his music and found comfort in his music which is exactly how i felt. The viewer was surrounded by darkness which is most probably a depiction of their sad life and them siting in the light (like a ray of hope) shows the happiness they felt while listening to Takayan's song. Also love the ending, when the song ended, nothing really changed 2:18 but we could see that the light was still there because the hope they found after listening to the song never left them, even when the darkness remained to creep around.
Also Takayan in a suit is the cutest thing ever.
edit: i just realized i kinda said this as some kind of 'fact' but just letting you know that this is literally just the first thought that came to my mind and i totally disregarded the other aspects of the video and i wasn't looking too deep enough so my analysis is inherently flawed. Interesting way of looking at it, I want to see what you think of mine.
I think the initial viewer, judging from the outfit, was actually one of the members of the band. They all seem hurt except the new one (possibly a replacement for the member who is no longer there), all of them being bandaged including the viewer. I think the message could be the exploitation they suffer in the industry, being mistreated so that they do the presentations, and if they leave (as the initial spectator did) they are simply replaced like nothing. That is why the stage is so beautiful and bright, and when looking through the cameras of the public (represented as teenagers as they are the majority public) everything is distorted. Some people see the industry in a much more distorted way than others, but the initial viewer does not, he sees them as they are and he looks happy that he was able to escape from there. For a moment you can see that the camera is no longer distorted, but nothing changes. Despite the fact that many of us know perfectly well what happens in the world of youth music, nothing has changed. Nobody cares, we continue to consume the product as it is given to us. They romanticize behaviors such as infidelity, negative feelings or doing what we want without thinking more than self-pleasure (such as appearing to be in the song) and that they sell us. They sell young people only bad examples.

I can totally see that the one I called the 'viewer' was probably an old member or wait what if it's actually the member looking into his past self when he was a new member in that band- ? but anyway the main point, which is, the distorted or unrealistic image of music industry, the dark truth behind the music industry, the absurd romanticization, people who indulge even after knowing the truth, it all makes sense and I agree with your pov.

It's okay to have different ways of interpreting what we see, but it's funny that so many people sympathized with your pov. I love to analyze the videos of musicians who show they want to give a message and that they put love to their works. Takayan is one of those musicians, and I fervently believe that I have to see his works in the most critical way possible.
