Para mi la estructura musical del los use se adapta mejor al estilo de matt, más técnico y en esa época muy pesado, a pesar que el sonido no era heavy, tenía una dureza perfectamente producida. Una locura total!! Si abre visto el solo de matt mil veces jajaj hermoso y al pecho!!!! Todos queríamos ser matt sorum. Batero versátil puede tocar todo. Definitely not Guns N’ Roses. As others have said maybe it’s Steven’s band. The singer is great and is incredibly close to axl!! As a guitar player myself and a big fan of slash I could tell those solos weren’t him. Definitely in a slash style but it’s just not him.
Agreed. Not signture slash. I enjoy stephens singer. He actually sounds better than axl these days. I think axl destroyed his voice with smoking and a 3 - 3 1/2 yr long Tour of illusion's. Steven has groove and rock n roll. Half of illusion's goes to soppy and glam. I liked rock n roll roses. Not the 15 piece Big brass band pop n roses.

But maybe regarding axl’s voice, seems like a difficult vocal style to maintain for any extended period of time, and especially as one gets older. Even in GnR prime sometimes to me it seemed like it was tough to pull off regularly, probably because it’s like screaming and screetching. It always seemed a bit hit or miss, sometimes sounding like skelator. He sounded good with the AC/DC tour but that might have been a last blast, since then he seems to use the falsetto voice 90% of the time for high register stuff. I also like Steven’s drumming better and obviously AFD better than the illusion albums. So good tunes on the illusion albums but many that aren’t so great.
