A few mix suggestions for So Blue; 1. start with the verse, not the chorus, 2. put a good rapper after the break, 3. Dontae Winslow trumpet solo in the string outtro
Joyce Cunningham normally I would agree; don't put rappers on songs that don't need it. But this one, the verse/intro hints to rap and gogo and that break needs something. Adding hiphop and jazz elements would kick it up a level to the big career-defining track it deserves to be - the Dontae Winslow trumpet solo is non-negotiable ;)
