10% Paycut Proposed in Detroit

Detroit mayor Ken Cockrel has proposed a 10% across the board paycut for city workers, including transit workers. Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 26 President Henry Gaffney is among those who respond to the mayor's proposal.

@jackiechan511 Easy. Just take a look at how long it takes to do anything in the public sector? Its horrible and than they need more money complete a simple task.

Why is that all states, cities/towns and the federal government running deficits year after year (with no end of sight)?

That is the way it should be. Wages are to high. Times are tough and concessions are needed.
