I can’t press the share button in the album even though i have set it all correct… it only works at the shortcut apps 😢what happened , can someone explain me

How do I deal with different aspect ratios? And portrait mixed with landscape? When I go to select photos, I cannot see what shape they are. Bits are chopped off.
If this app/shortcut does not enable us to select according to shape, or if it doesn’t automatically make a collage to cope with image shape then it is useless.
And the time and number of steps required to set it up is a waste of time.

First you need to hold the shortcut, click on edit and show on share sheet

I used the photo merge option that came with (no set up needed) the shotcuts app for a couple of years. Why was it changed? I hit something on a menu on accident and couldn’t get it to go back to the original so now I’m stuck with this “improved” version.
The photo merge option was gone so I looked up this video and followed the directions. I press share on a photo and select the shortcut I named from the menu which brings me to the gallery where I select the other photo (also tried both photos) but I get an error cannot combine image, no images were provided to combine. Any ideas?.
