"Choose Your Own Adventure", sermon by The Rev. Brad Landry, October 6, 2024. It should come as no surprise to us that we sometimes fail to be who we are created to be. But the love of God is not limited or dependent on us having to keeping it all together. And the love of God is not always about me, right? It is about being in relationship. Is there something that we deserve? We are in grace. The gospel of Jesus loves because God has created us to love. Whether it be illness, disease, or risk of death or divorce, there is pain and suffering in this life. But that is not all there is. As we choose new adventures of forgiveness and love, it's up to us.
