But never dared anything to renew the games (like CV had with Sotn which was what prolonged its life dramatically). The only game that tried a little different ideas from the Nes formula were MMZ and ZX, but "coincidentally" not made by Capcom. The thing is that most people cant think too clearly and coldly about this matter, their brains get clouded by their childhood memories and the delights of finding any new experiences (read: disgusting milking that was always a Capcom staple).
It was really funny to me how they tried to celebrates Megaman's 30th anniversary with yet another compilation and, at the time, there hadn't been a new Megaman game in 10 years. Can't have an anniversary if it's been dead for that long. I wish I could buy the franchise from them and treat it right like JKB does.

I was thinking the same thing while watching. I'm 41 now and have diabetes. Another 7 or so to finish and it's questionable. Wow. It would suck it if was dead and can't play this.
Actually, considering the amount time & effort (over a decade) put into it, this could well be worth at least $50-$60. I know if I were working for Capcom making this game, it wouldn't go for cheap.

LOVE the more open world level design. I would say that some of the areas look a bit sparce towards the end but all-in-all more great work! Love those rhinos a lot! And the breakable block mechanics look super fun! Makes me want to explore all the areas you sped though. Keep up that great work

I’ve only just heard about this game 3 months ago. I know I haven’t suffered the wait with so many others, but this looks truly promising and worth whatever the wait is.
- The behavior for the mole enemy is SPECTACULAR, and so are the others. - The music is SPOT-ON. Everything about this is grandiose and I cannot wait to play it.
God, it looks incredible. My only thought on this level is that the color palette is maybe brighter than it needs to be? Especially in the underground sections, a slightly darker palette and/or more shadows might be interesting to see. Still though, absolutely unbelievable and I can't wait to play it someday!!!

Loving how fluidly Zero’s different techniques work into one another; the movement feels much more dynamic than a lot of the official games! I also really like how we’re getting non-elemental special techniques, as opposed to having the uppercut permanently linked to fire etc.. Keep up the awesome work!
I like how despite being technically a rematch with Green Biker Dad, the lack of walls and the addition of blocks changes the dynamic of the bridge guard.
No, it's just natural lag. Considering how much of an area is considered 'active' by the game engine, possibly every enemy & moving platform is actively moving & being kept track of, even off screen, for an entire area that's enclosed by screen transition doorways.
What I love is that the graphics are staying true to the 16-bit limits, whereas a lot of fan made projects fail to do that when they use 32-but graphics as the base. Great work.

The level design is just so...perfect. It follows the tried-and-true game design philosophy where gimmicks are introduced to the player with relaxed difficulty while steadily building on said stage concept and having the challenge gradually ramp up moving forward. Wonderful.
I've been waiting for this game for years. I cant wait til it releases. I look forward to this game more than I have for any recent Mega man releases, even Mega Man 11 which was top-notch. I just love that all robots and stuff in the stage makes sense. They don't seem to exist only to fuck the player, they seemed to be part of a structure for tourist's and stuff before a maverick problem. Very good enemy and stage design jk!
10 years ago, as a kid I watched the early days of this game, and I was super impressed by the gameplay, and the video with the ultimate armor 'cause I knew the armor was from X4 on megaman X snes graphics make me wanted to play it even more. This game is my dream come true on a megaman X game

well,the one thing to be happy about is that out of 8 bosses,we've seen 7 of them,with 6 being shown the stages,so we're a real journey away from the beginning...problem is,how long it will take to finish it...
I love how the platforming manages to present challenges while still playing to the strengths of MMX physics, with jumps weighty enough to be satisfying, but floaty enough that you still have a lot of control over them. Good combat is nice, but megaman is first and foremost a platformer so im very happy about what im seeing.
How the fight with RT-55J should've been in Megaman X1. I love how new and refreshing this is turning out to be, while still incorporating bits and pieces of the vanilla games.

That old guardian's even got a defensive shield. Also, Zero seems much more suited to fight it at close range, unlike X.

hopefully not too long, stage design doesn't take that long once you've got the assets, and the bosses are what take the longest.

How the fight with RT-55J should've been in Megaman X1. I love how new and refreshing this is turning out to be, while still incorporating bits and pieces of the vanilla games.
