A lot of exposed cabling in the rear wheel well - although you need a lot of protection to guard from a tyre blowout/disintegration, even basic sheeting would protect from twigs and other debris snagging on the cabling.
I drive older Citaros and new versions like this but diesel. The older cab layout is better. If you inadvertently leave the cab window open and it rains the buttons which are directly below the window get soaked which renders the bus useless. In service the cab door magnetic catch fails which means you have to hold on to the door with one hand and the doors become inoperative effectively meaning you have broken down. I prefer the simple manual door catch. Keep it simple.
