Hi there! I've seen a bunch of videos on resin artists who've tried the flex rubber. Suggestions are use a mold release or use Vaseline to rub in mold. Then when peeling it out, use the flock as you're doing it and flock your gloves; or peel it out while in a bucket of soapy water. (btw, if u want to change the flock, wash the piece in soapy water to wash off the flock, then it will be re-sticky again to re-flock. 😄😄✌👍
Helpful hint for finding out how much you need mix. Fill your mold with water and measure the weight of the water. That will tell you the total you need to have after mixing.
Videos where you and your wife interact makes me so happy, you two are just so silly and happy-seeming! I hope my partner and I are this silly when we're older 😤💛
That dragon egg mold is so cool! Your candle idea is perfect! 👍 I like that you tried the rubber mix on the frog mold. It reminded me of the unexpected hitchhiker when my mum brought her plants indoors the other day. The cats had been chasing something in the night and knocked the plants over. I turned on a light that evening and found a little tree frog curled up asleep on top of the television cabinet. It woke up and squinted at me (so cute!) It was unharmed and I took it safely back outdoors. I might have to get a frog mold myself sometime!
I don’t know what I enjoyed watching more, the products, the art or just how amazing you guys work together. You’re an amazing team. There’s always been something very genuine about your content Ben and seeing you and Nicole work together is really heart lifting.
The flex rubber looks like it's a kit to make Taba Squishies. It's a viral craft from Asia. Because they are so sticky they get coated with flocking and put into plastic bags together with different items and decorations. You then squish the bag to play with them. Depending on how soft they are it looks like they've become almost liquid when squished in the bag, but then they return to their original shape after a bit.
Elliott came out great and the egg! The squishy paws are so cute. While watching this I had to laugh a little. I remember when Nichole was so shy about being on camera, but she's really gotten comfortable with it now. I love that you guys teamed up for the channel and the wonderful content. It's as much fun watching the two of you interacting as it is watching your craft come to life. ❤️ Is that a new Elliott shirt design? (Running to the Etsy store now!)
I don't know if anyone has suggested it or not but you could use your bear molds that you made the red and white tray with to make some squishy bears. I think i recall a small heart mold in precious episodes as well. Just a couple ideas. As usual, your videos are so fun to watch!!!!
I have that egg mold. I made an insert from a plastic easter egg with silicone that i attached a stir stick to so i can rest it over the egg mold to create a cavity in the lid as well. makes it much lighter and saves on resin/resincrete.
so wild! i love it! the rubber reminded me of the octopuses you used to get in the plastic bubbles and you could throw them against the wall and they would climb down!
This is the first video I’ve seen of you. I was hooked at first sight. You two are funny and so nice. ❤ I just love the paw prints, frog, dragon egg and the dragon. They’re beautiful. I’m an instant subscriber. Love to you guys.
Not even really sure why I'm watching, not my usual content material. But you two interacting is soothing and also fun. I admire the connection you two share, very very cool. ✌️
All the new items are cool. My favorite has to be Elliott and the dragon egg! I love the details on the dragon egg. Just beautiful. It was neat to see you guys try something new. Hopefully, you will add a few new items to the store. Much love to you all. 😊💜
I love you two. My first time seeing you and it was so much fun. You 2 work so wonderfully together. Made an senior in California smile. Thank you both
Oh that dragon egg! 😍 That’s a product I’d like to try. It’s an easy mix, you can get bubbles out by putting it in the fridge if you don’t have a vacuum chamber (which I don’t have) AND, as an artist with about a million different acrylic paints, my mind was REELING when I looked at it, thinking of all the color combos and things I could add to paint to make it sparkly! 🤩 The possibilities are endless! I’ve also made candles with my husband, so making them into candles would be an amazing idea! I have a friend who just lives dragons and that would be the perfect gift for her! I may give that a go!
This brought a smile to my face, lovely to see you two doing new projects and experimenting with new crafting kits! Those paw print squishies look adorable and the coaster egg and Elliott look very clean
Squishy stuff is brilliant, used to get man shaped that flipped down the wall, bought them for my son, good excuse then. I think the frog is awesome 34:52 hahahaha reminded me of my cat when I picked her up 🤣 my heart is with the squish. Thanks Ben and Nicole had a laugh 👍💖
Hi Ben & Nicole, that was so much fun to watch. How did Courtney like it? I also think you should do one of Elliott. It looks like they would make a good stress reliever. Take care, stay safe & have a wonderful weekend❣️🙏💗🤗
The magic pour reminds me of Durham's rock hard water putty. It's designed for construction and repairs, but I've used it for crafts. The flex rubber is super cool!
Love all of them. The products are pretty cool. I love the " Wing it" method. Hope you both have a good one. Take care n happy creating. Keep smiling!!!
I was wondering if as you were pouring the squishy mould for the frog, if when you got to about half way adding some thin wire before finish filling it up. That way it would not only be less floppy but maybe able to position the legs.
Hey Ben and Nicole! Wow, this was so much fun!! I'm a "paw print" fanatic, I have everything paw print.🤣🐾 Purse, wallet, jewelry, shoes and even my "pawsome" apron!!😁 The squishy frog has toe character.😂😜 Some little squishy skulls would be cool, wonder how the big skull would be?!😆 Hee hee🤯 Is the powder just regular flocking powder? How awesome it would be in other colors like a holographic, color shift or fluorescent. Love how everything came out, the magic pour picked up details beautifully. All these cool products will be amazing to experiment with in so many ways. Bring it on!!🤪 Have a great weekend and tell Courtney "hello". Big hugs from Texas!!😍🤩
This video was a lot of fun! All your projects came out really nice. That flex rubber looks really interesting. I wonder if it needs to stay away from air, when not being played with. I hope it retains it's squishy-ness. Yours and Nicole's banter is always entertaining! Thanks Ben!!
flex rubber looks awesome!! That purple flocking is a real dark purple! Interesting to see the blue purple two tone!! Mica really seems to work well in the magic pour!
Excellent fun, lovely to watch yous together video ❤️ i have a soft rubber chicken that has a light up little ball in it. It lights up inside the chicken when I smack it. It would look very cool inside the frog or bigger project like it. Oh the egg is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all. I laughed lots. There was alot of flocking going on ❤ Did Courtney love the flocked paws?
They are all totally amazing and perfect for your average non pro resin maker as you don't need equipment and tools. I love them 😃 Although the frog made me feel like a frog whose bones had all dissolved 😧🤣
We are randomly adding the paw prints into 4 orders ➡️ bensworx.etsy.com
you should make them a regular product on the shop - there's gonna be a lot of people that want them!

That big dragon egg would look good with wild colors in a clear resin

They all turned out pretty awesome Ben. I like your ‘new’ assistant! Your wife adds to your personality with her gentle humor!
Flock the exposed part of the frog while still in the mold. would help a lot with the limbs sticking as you remove the rest.

I absolutely love watching the two 2️⃣ of you together ❤❤❤! Such an incredible duo!
Ooh that flex rubber is for making Taba squishies usually but I imagine you’ll come up with some awesome alternative uses for it 😁
My family thinks you should do a rubber Elliott! Or make a 3D mold of Ben's head with your new camera, and do a rubber version of that!
😆
THIS !!!!!! ^^^^^^^^^ 🎉🎉🎉
A soft frog with the blue and green coloring that the resin ones had would be so cool!
Yes that would be amazing!
27:16 broke a toe better call him a toe truck just hope he don’t get toad 😂😂😂
Elliott came out great and the egg! The squishy paws are so cute.

Hey Ben&Nicole
I really like your collaboration videos, this was a lot of fun.
Take care of One Another 😊
I want the little frog. Lol. I collect them and might i say simply 😍

Awesome stuff. But that flippen pink frog cracked me up! 🤣
I love the energy you guys have. Such a great duo.
Start peeling toes and flock them first, individually, then go flocking hard! I love the paw prints. They turned out stunning, in that colour. 😊❤
I love you two. My first time seeing you and it was so much fun. You 2 work so wonderfully together. Made an senior in California smile. Thank you both

I am in LOVE with Elliot! I’m going to look at Let’s Resin & see if I can make one too.
You shake truffles in cocoa powder to cover the sticky inside. Yum
😆

Hi
Ben & Nicole, that was so much fun to watch. How did Courtney like it? I also think you should do one of Elliott. It looks like they would make a good stress reliever. Take care, stay safe & have a wonderful weekend❣️🙏💗🤗
My brain thought the frog was a raw chicken breast until I remembered what was going on. Lol!!
Wasn’t sure I was going to watch this one, but your comment got me curious!
Lol. Yes!! I think the color added to the "raw chicken" look 😂❤
Those are really cool projects. The product used to make Elliot reminds me of Plaster of Paris. Keep up the amazing work. 👽

Great products and it was so fun to watch you do the process!
"Put some flock in your box" sounds dirtier than it should. 🤣🤣
😂😂 or anything with the word flock. Anyone: what are you doing? Me : flocking. 😅
How FUN 😊😊😊😊Love them all!! ❤❤❤❤
This video was a lot of fun! All your projects came out really nice. That flex rubber looks really interesting. I wonder if it needs to stay away from air, when not being played with. I hope it retains it's squishy-ness. Yours and Nicole's banter is always entertaining! Thanks Ben!!
Hello from Wyoming!! You guys are awesome! Nothing like the dynamic duos! Love and along for the adventure! Absolutely love frogs!
Cool. You have to do that dragon egg mold in resin. Brush some mica powder into the crystal parts so they are a different colour to the egg.
Oh, I really want that dark purple paw print!! 😃🐾💜
Those are really cool that large egg at the end loved it wonder if the rubber pieces could go in a resin
🤣 fun fun! ❤ maybe try putting mica on the mold before pouring the dragon and see what the colors come out like?❤
Just finding this channel and I must say I am loving yall!! I am binge watching now!!
flex rubber looks awesome!! That purple flocking is a real dark purple! Interesting to see the blue purple two tone!! Mica really seems to work well in the magic pour!
Thanks Mate! Yeah they do look cool 😊
I love those projects!
I ❤️❤️❤️ the dragon stuff‼️‼️‼️‼️
Flock me! Turned out amazing! Going to have to get some of that rubber stuff! Lol😂
Excellent fun, lovely to watch yous together video ❤️ i have a soft rubber chicken that has a light up little ball in it. It lights up inside the chicken when I smack it. Very cool, I want to try both!
Truffles 😊 Love you two .
They are all totally amazing and perfect for your average non pro resin maker as you don't need equipment and tools. I love them 😃 Although the frog made me feel like a frog whose bones had all dissolved 😧🤣

THAT is AWESOME! 😊
Love the squishiness, and I love elliott and his egg.
29:17 try it with the mini skulls
That's what I was coming here to say. 💀
Lol I just said the same about making a squishy flocked skull😀
I really really like the paws
There are a lot of these squishy toys in Korea. You can keep it sticky you can add beads or sprinkles. Fake sugar all to add different textures.
great episode... love all the projects
That's pretty cool stuff. You'll have to try the squeaker in one😊
Love the frog interesting material
