I can't stand when dramas have an evil woman who won't take no for an answer. The ex gf is beautiful and intelligent, why chase a man who doesn't want you? Plenty of other fish in the sea. I like the female lead though she's kind and strong. That's the kind of female characters we need more of. Shows a good example to young girls.
Did you meet guys who are handsome or have good luck with women or have a lot of money uncapable to accept a "No" as answer? Well, those guys are the same as the girls who you mention, in both cases what is shown is not their good qualities which are talking, is their ego

I also read the novel LICHUAN’S PAST and the story ending is much more beautiful as in the series. But you know seeing the actors playing the part especially Godfrey Gao gave me chills in my spine. So sad I can no longer see him. 😢😢😢

No lo he visto completo, pero por lo que he visto es un drama muy bonito pero no me anime a verlo completo, los dramas con finales trágicos no me gustan. Se que la vida real no es color de rosa pero por lo mismo como la vida real no lo es en los dramas me gustan los finales felices. Yo llore y llore con este final. Lucharon tanto, sufrieron tanto y aunque el final es muy emotivo es demasiado triste.
