  • Explore the beautiful countryside and enjoy the peaceful freedom of the historic and tranquil derbyshire dales.
In the derwent valley we visit the heights of abraham, named after the site of general wolfes famous battle in canada in 1759. it is now famous as the locationof englands first cable car system. we see the lavish setting of chatsworth house with its beautiful gardens and fountains, and haddon hall, less dramatic but equally beautiful. the tissington trail was once a railway line, but now offers easy route for strolling or cycling through the peacful countryside. among the many glorious dales lie hidden caverns to be explored, the stark rocky edges attract rock climbers. we roam among villages and market towns that make the derbyshire dales so unique.
