I think my longest has been about 500 miles, but I plan to do more. Not sure about an Iron-butt... my husband has done one and I'm just not sure about that..
Rode from Clovis NM to San Bernardino California in a day on a 1983 KZ 1100 in 1986 because I had to report for duty at 1130 that night . Made it for my shift and had time for a quick bite at the chow hall and a shower . I guess that is about the farthest I can remember. Keep up sharing these great rides , really love these videos!
Just over 750 miles on a Softtail coming up from the Dragon. No way I could have made the extra 250 miles that same day to qualify for the Iron-butt status.
I have done 2 Certified by IBA Iron Butt rides. The first was in 2007 with my wife. I was riding a 1977 Kawasaki Voyager XII and she was riding her 2005 Yamaha XS1100. We rode from Fort Worth to El Paso before turning around. We stopped in Sonora after 1123 miles in 22 hours. We were attempting Bun Burner 1500 miles in less than 36 hours, we missed that window by 2 hours, but accomplished a Saddle Sore 1000. My wife said “Never again!” for her! My 2nd Iron Butt was in 2018 when I was 70 years old. Rode from Fort Worth again to Casey, Illinois for the last Moonshine Lunch Run. When to Casey via Salina, Ks from Fort Worth. Did 1050 miles in 16 hours, another SS1000 accomplished. I was riding my 2001 Goldwing. You are a amazing young Lady!
Congratulations on making it home safely and on finishing the Iron Butt Challenge. As one of a lot of followers, we enjoyed the trip with you. See you on the next one and “you be good”. 🏍❤️🙏👏🥇🤓
Thats gotta be a comfortable seat on that bike. I've done 1200 miles in my truck but on a bike what you did is one hell of an accomplishment. Been riding 40 years drove truck 35. Never attempted a long trip on a bike. You should be very proud of your accomplishment. I have always hated atl traffic but honestly back in the 80s if you took the bypass it was OK. Today I couldn't imagine going through on an air cooled bike hoping you don't burn it up in that hellish traffic.
I drove through Atlanta once...just because we were visiting from Savannah. Honestly, though, Columbus traffic is awful now too. I left Ohio (Columbus) in 2000 and moved back in 2017 to the Cleveland area. Columbus blew up! It's a nightmare visiting friends down there.
YOU ARE A BAD ASS JESS !!!!!!! I have watched several of the iron butt ride videos. they all plan and schedule every gas and rest stop. pack snacks and supplies meticulously document every mile. you on the other hand, said i think i will try this iron butt thing and see what happens. with no real expectations and no worries about not making it. the rest of us wish we were willing to just take the chances to try things fearlessly like you do. you truly are an inspiration to others. ps i like the longer format videos you have done lately. you be good.
Watching this video reminded me of my Iron Butt last year. Started out at midnight. Got 2-300 miles into the ride (Eastern Kansas) and it turned foggy with curvy freshly done roads. No lines to follow. Your videos are like home to me. Love them.
Awesome girl! Long distance on a motorcycle isn't as easy as the same distance in a car! As a truck driver I was limited by the number of hours, not miles. On my two wheel machines I've discovered that a lot has to do with age and physical condition. Keep it up and hit it while you can! Enjoy what you're doing and Do what you Enjoy!!
I really am at the top of the country. Northern Maine. 1800 miles and 28 hour drive from Tampa. No matter where I want to go in the country the first 6 hours is always the same. One way in, one way out. Great video.
Congrats on the 1K Iron Butt!!! Made mine traveling from Texas back to North Carolina. It was a monumental moment for me. I have to admit that the last hundred miles were done at a rather brisk pace too. lol
I just did that ride from Nashville to Columbus, and going through my home State of Kentucky seemed like it took forever. Plus the road construction in Cincinnati sucked ! But the Ultra ran great.Funny seeing some of the things that I passed heading home. Thanks Kiddo.
Great video and congratulations on the accomplishment! I did mine from Geneseo, IL to Merrimack, NH - 1,145 miles and it took me 20 hours straight! I know a lot of the emotions you went through on that ride, except for the fact that I knew I was going to do it the whole time. I had no other option. I did stop for gas somewhere in NY and grumble to myself about wishing I could stop for the night, but I couldn't afford to stop anywhere and my parents had a couch waiting for me in NH, and a burger and Red Bull costs a lot less than a room so I just kept pushing until I was there. It got cold, in the 40's and just a couple of days earlier, I had been in the 108°F desert and canyons of Moab, UT. I didn't have heated gear and my hoodie was packed away where it wasn't easily accessible on the side of the road, so all I had was my rain gear for warmth. It's not much, but I got numb and forgot about how cold I was until I arrived in my parents driveway at 3am and started thawing out. I wish I had Relive back then for that road trip. It was the craziest, dumbest, most epic thing I had ever done.
Congrats Jess!! 1100 miles is no joke!!Most mileage for me in a day, 650 on my Softail Breakout. Started off near Lexington, KY and ventured over to RC Components in Bowling Green, KY(shopping for wheels for the bike) then headed home to Northern IL(Rockford area). It was quite the adventure on I-90 through Chicago in the rain, at dark, with a pretty much bald rear tire. Definitely wouldn't do it again in those conditions!
Great ride and congratulations! I've done 3 Saddle Sore 1000 rides as part of the IBA Big as Texas event in the fall and seem to go through an early afternoon "wth am I doing??" followed by an "I feel great and this is awesome" second wind as the sun goes down, and ending up with a "get me off of this thing" around midnight. It's always an experience and I love it. Side note - If you ever forget what it's like and decide to do any more of these, remember you have a full 24 hours. So if you aren't feeling comfortable from a safety standpoint, you can stop and sleep for a few hours then finish up before time expires. I've found that I usually have 6 hours on average to play with if needed.
Ok, four years ago I acquired my first Harley, a Dyna. This last summer I bought a 2015 road glide ultra cvo. Two years ago I road that Dyna to Florida from Evansville Indiana to see my son on a four day weekend. Sometimes our coincidences are sorta scary. However 1 month after I got my road, I was in a wreck and it saved my life, it is still being fixed and watching you on your Appa is great, a little rough sometimes but great.
You are an inspiration. Thank you for having this channel and for sharing your adventures. I've been riding pretty much since I could walk, and when I see things like this, it kicks me in the butt to stay excited about riding. Thank you.
Congratulations on your iron butt Jess. The most I've done in one day was 535 miles on a 1997 Honda CBR 600. I miss that bike ( it was stolen in 2001 ).
Welcome to the Iron Butt Association. There is some noteworthy merchandise to commemorate the experience. I personally like the license plate holder, as it's kinda tucked away, but still visible. Well done. New subscriber.
Wow, congrats HTW!! I'm so impressed with you riding stamina. I have ridden long distances and I know how tough it is, and you did it with a smile on your face, love it!! Well done Jess and big thanks.
Hey Girl ! Congratulations...... You are amazing and your channel is one of my favorites (my favorite motorcycle channel, for sure). Hope to meet you in person one day. Be safe and keep those two wheels rolling.
Way to go Jess! The furthest i've ridden in a day was 502 miles, which was the longest ride i've made by myself. I rode from Buffalo to RI. The trip before that was to Cedar Point earlier this year which was about 220 miles. Next year i'm planning to ride route 66, which I won't do in a day, but it's still going to be intense!
Jesse you are one tough young woman. Congratulations and I know I couldn't have done that. What made it tougher is the fact you ran around with all those cats in Florida for several days which had to be super tiring. I am going to show this one to my daughter. God bless.
Jess, you have my ultimate respect. The Iron Butt is something I could never try, even in my younger days. I can't even do that in my car. lol Ride safe.
I don't know if youre interested but, to help with cornering lights companies like Motolight and Twisted Throttle make fork mounted lighting. Which provides more lighting for you, and more visibility for others to see you. So awesome to see you're getting on it !!
Plan on doing The Four Corners tour but am not gonna do it with time constraints...Worked all my life to be able to take my time traveling now...... Keep the ADVENTURE alive.....Congrats on your self challenges..
Congratulations on the iron butt, that's amazing. I've never done it although I've thought of it several times along the way. But Jess has done it!!! Hooray!!!!
We all said you were CRAZY when we heard you left so early, that is an awesome accomplishment! I got to 880 my first day, but didn't manage to get to the full 1000. Soon enough! Congrats!
Congrats!! Did my Wisconsin to eastern Tennessee to Florida then back to Wisconsin this past spring. Didn’t iron butt it though. Stopped in Dalton Georgia for the night on my way home. Left early and breezed through Chattanooga and Memphis.
one thing I like about heading out before the sun comes up when its cool out is the sun warming the bones as it starts to get higher in the sky its beautiful where you are
What's the farthest you've ridden in a day?
I think my longest has been about 500 miles, but I plan to do more. Not sure about an Iron-butt... my husband has done one and I'm just not sure about that..
So far only 350 miles but looking to ride out to the pacific coast in the next two years to ride along the coast

Overnight 900 miles one way from Texas to Waterloo, Iowa in a day 14 hours! Mrs Jess
Congrats Jess! Loved being along for the ride. Some of us who have little kids at home live vicariously through your adventures.
You are the real deal. That’s one heck of a ride. Honestly, I could not have done that, and I’ve been on two wheels since 1975.
I totally agree! I’ve been riding just as long as you, and have never rode that far in 24 hours.
Iron Butt goes by GPS. Speedometer are off that’s why they say go at least 50 to 100 miles over 1000
Not that bad doing it on a rolling couch 😂. Try riding a naked bike for hundreds of miles at highway speeds and higher.
CONGRATS!!!
Awesome way to end your month long travels, by adding a ironbutt to your resume.. Love It!
Thanks so much!! It was brutal!
Amazing video forgotten angles , iron butts . , lots of love! . Great 👍
I have watched you from the beginnings and girl you have become the real deal.
Thanks for taking us along! Your 1100 miles in one 'seatting' is a great accomplishment!
Congratulations!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations Jess!!!
I love how happy you get when you see a dog. I’m the same way.
Jess, you're awesome, what can't you do? The farthest I've ridden is 300 miles when I was sixty-five years old. You put out great content! stay safe!

Congratulations! Welcome to the Iron Butt Club! Get the Plate tag and wear it with pride!

Congratulations Jess. That was one heck of a ride. Thanks for taking us along.
Congrats Jess, that is one heck of an accomplishment. I know how you feel, takes all you have. You did it and with style, lol. Be safe, have fun.

Good job Jess, you really knock it out of the park, a strong ride. Congradulations!!!
Hey Girl ! Congratulations...... You are amazing and your channel is one of my favorites (my favorite motorcycle channel, for sure). Hope to meet you in person one day. Be safe and keep those two wheels rolling.
It would be a bit much for me. Congratulations Jess you've done it, I'm proud of you.
In dealing with on coming lights, always ride looking at lines, a few car lengths in front of you. Rain makes that difficult so pull over!
Congratulations!! Not to be weird or anything, but glad you made it back safely even if you didn’t do the iron butt. But you did! Congratulations!
Congrats on the iron butt challenge!!! You’re a rock star!!!

Congratulations Jess. It was nice to meet you at the campout.
Likewise friend! 🙌
Congrats on your first Iron Butt! I have a bun burner on a 04 road king. Glad I did it, but damn that was a special level of pain.
Welcome to the Club. I am betting this is just the first of many IBA rides. Keep on keeping on....Thanks for the great videos
I am so happy for you!! Congratulations. You are an inspiration for many of us newbies! Thank you for sharing your adventures. Get plenty of rest!
Congrats & this was a fun vid.

That Georgia traffic hurt my soul all over again haha. It was great to see you again Jess! Love the video!
