Hello, Jennifer.😊 I find some phrases absolutely useful, like "Tap water is fine." or "Can I have a to-go box?" I didn't recognize that water is free everywhere in North America.
By the way, I usually say "Morning！" to my family instead of greeting in Japanese. I don't know why, yet it seems like more natural to me.

Thank you so much for the video. We rarely carry cash. One time we were driving home and somehow the navigation took us through a toll road. It was cash only there and we scraped it together and were still a dollar short of the staff. Finally the woman said, ok, you guys are a dollar short of me and let us drive through.🤣
