    That's a lot of debt in a fairly short amount of time! Congrats on that, huge weight off of your back! I think debt like credit cards and student loans are hurting a lot of millennials. I have a video like that talking about paying it down as well. But getting out of that debt hole is very important to start living our lives! Thanks for your stories! :)

    Simple pay your loan amount every week to beat tge Bank interest and close the loan out early. Period!!!! Example: your agreed monthly payment is $345. So pay $86.25 per week.

    Sorry if this is too personal, but you took out a loan for the 15k owed and then paid the loan off/are still paying it off? I'm about to graduate and I'm trying to find the best way to repay student loans. I have multiple from over the years. Is it like condensing all of them into one and paying that back instead? Your videos always have really great information so I really value your opinions!

    • @missbehelpful
      @missbehelpful  6 років тому +1

      I would do the math to see how much you would save by consolidating all the loans into one monthly payment rather than making a bunch of payments each month. Set up automatic payments right away - don't wait until graduation. Also, I paid it all off already but this was the strategy I used. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Is there any places that offer loans on low credit scores?

    • @missbehelpful
      @missbehelpful  6 років тому

      Crystal Vargas Yes but they give VERY high interest rates, so it’s better to work on the score first then apply later

  • @BLANSTAR21
    @BLANSTAR21 6 років тому +3

    *Never take a payday or any type of that loan. The interest is ridiculous. The best thing to do is sell your stuff, cut back on life, and live basic until you can get yourself together. Also, NEVER give others the ability to have access to your bank account... no no no...
    But I liked this video because you gave the pros and cons.

      Mycreditgroup offers a lot of stuff. Credit repair, clearing my student loans, lowering my credit cards and helped me get a new house. Haxedge Credit Repair *Haxedge@gmail com* is an excellent company. They are really well organized, the customer service is top notch, and the results they got for me in just a few days have been spectacular. Credit repair works! It's been a wonderful experience. I recommend them without any reservations!

    Good vid but $15,000 divided by 24 months is $625 a month at zero interest so... either massive payments were made or it took longer than the "12 to 24 months" stated.

      Research before you go. Find out what kind of car you want then go on Kelly Blue Book to find out the value of the car. This way you will know if the dealer or owner is giving you a fair price. Shop around at different places. If you go to a small car lot or a private owner, pay to get the dealer to inspect the car like they would a car they certify on their lot (I paid ~$200 and it gave me peace of mind because they told me it was in great condition). The extra cost is definitely worth it.

      Are you buying a new or used car? When I was looking to buy my first car I went to a lot of used car lots. I decided not to buy a used car because they were too expensive per month and I did not know if it was reliable. I ended up leasing a new car with a cheaper payment than the used cars that were the same make and model. Do not lease if you're going to go over the miles. It's much easier to buy a new car than a used car but you can get a nice preowned vehicle without getting jerked around. Make sure you check the vin number for accidents or floods.

    • @joraquelyt
      @joraquelyt 6 років тому +1

      Amen Versace no down payments! Used will get you a lower payment depending on your credit expect higher mileage. If you buy new, be prepared to discuss estimates. (Money). Check out the APR and interest rates plus Price. Stretch out your loan based on what you can afford. Before driving off any lot, know which car ins you want. Don't let all and everyone run your credit. Car Ins will run them. Don't even get quotes from everyone just one or two. Oh yeah take a male relative with you. 😘 you'll thank me later. Oh yeah avoid buy here, pay here's. I financed at the dealership, but however I wouldn't. Try your bank/cu first to get a lower rate(pay).

    If you borrowed money at 21.63% to pay off a student loan, while sitting there with 29% interest on credit card debt, I’m not sure you should be giving financial advice on the internet.

    Oh man, your channel is like "credit cards are good... but I got into $15K of debt..."
    Good on you for paying it all off but surely it's easier to deliberately adjust your lifestyle to your income at any given time, instead of adjusting the amount of money you owe to keep up with a lifestyle you cant afford.

    Oh I can beat that. I paid a $23,000 debt in less than 2 minutes. I received the bill, I logon to the website, I select ‘make a payment’ I select statement balance, I enter my checking account info. Then boom, I was done. A few minutes later I received an email saying ‘thank you for your payment.
