Yeah, this world's ceremony was pretty good. Personally I was hoping to hear the full version of Paranoia but I still liked what they did this year. 💚
Decent but still gud.. maybe i was expecting much since they also did great last year.
I really liked that Opening Ceremony too, but there were many people on UA-cam saying it's the most epic one...
It kinda felt more "faulty" than 2019, the sound department on stream really missed the mark, all the stuff sounded way flatter than the original songs, especially with the beginning of GODS
Apparently none of this was a problem on site, all these videos of audience members showed how insanely good it was being there
9:03 You know that from the 2018 worlds, where this was performed...it's still seen as the benchmark for Worlds songs every year by most people
In the live performance tho, Mako (the black haired singer) kinda blundered (sounded like singing in cursive), which apparently was to a combination of root canal replacement, high fever and using alcohol to combat the pain...so the redemption of him this time was really great to see
ah yes!!! interesting that they added a song from 2018 in this. i don’t rmbr them doing that for other worlds? but i’m glad he got to perform it w out any issues this time! he sounded amazing.
