They would not want their cubs to suffer life-long confinement.

I could spend hours watching these teddy bear lookalikes and their jelly bellies. My love for lion cubs has transformed me! Two years ago, I wouldn't allow a cat or dog near me, but last week, I bought cat food for the very first time in my life ... for a calico cat that lives outside a cafe near my condo. Never knew it'd be such a rewarding experience feeding a cat! Every evening I'd go down to feed her and now I'm on a mission to find her a home before I relocate to another country. Mommmmm are we there yet. That poor little Munchkin just has to run behind Mom, while she carry's the sibling in her mouth. 😟 It absolutely awesome to see how gently she picks the Cubbies up, they are the cutiest. Those Jaws that can kill, are so gentle and loving, when it comes to her precious Cubbies. I just love watching them play with Mom, their little white tummy's showing while lying on their backs, trying so hard to get those teeny tiny feeties up to Mom's face, just to give Mom a wonderful little love tap.. I was swimming one day and there must have been about 30 Dragonflies flitting around, they would tap the water in flight, drinking water, I felt I was In Dragonfly Heaven. I was in awe of these beautiful creature's, when I noticed that one had fallen into the water and couldn't get airborne again. I gently put my hand under the Dragonfly, lifted it out the water, drained as much water out my hand, and softly started to blow It's wings dry. My Mom & Friend's laughed at me, but I just kept going, It's little face was facing me. I said to my Mom, if it's the last thing I do, this little creature's gonna fly... I kept blowing gently, the next thing, it lifted itself up and started moving those wings. They were still laughing, I said to that littlest creature, Your Friend's are waiting.. gave one more gentle blow, and it flew off...... Man let me tell you it felt Awesome... I’ve had the most incredible pleasure of feeding, cuddling, frolicking, holding and playing around with big cat babies including tigers, lions, mountain lions, leopards, cheetahs and a few others. This has been the most incredible moments of my entire life. I wish other big cat lovers could experience the same.

Wow! Those are the loveliest sequences of baby cubbies and their mother I have seen so far. ❤️🐾😊 The male and female cubs are already significantly differently coloured. I don't think I have seen such a pronounced difference in cubs so young before. The lioness seems to be a great mother. I hope she and her cubbies stay safe and eat well. This happened last night, actually this morning. I was watching the live safari I wanted to see some big cats. Specially that liones with the cubs, we didn't see them for two days, if I am not mistaken. About 1:00am I was so sleepy ready to go to bed, I wrote a comment, no big cats tonight, and something else. Then the image of the liones and cubs showed up, it was so funny, they were teasing me, a guy asked me, please wait another 30 minutes and ask for leopards, before I could reply, bum a leopard. Was a very special night, love that live safari.

I love the whole play around, snuggle upto mom, play again, suckle to feel tummy, play again routine ... and the mom seems so uninvolved and yet so supportive... amazing to watch their confidence in her and her uber cool personality... TBH at one point as the cub started straying a bit farther I got anxious ... they are so used to the safe sandbox around mom... I fear a moment of lapse in attention might lead to some unnecessary tragedy
I’ve often seen moms carry one cub and wonder if it’s to reduce the number of cubbies exposed to potential danger, or if it makes the other cubs follow better - maybe they’re less likely to lag behind or get distracted by something along the way with the indication that the walk is very destination-specific, rather than a leisurely, take-our-time stroll.
Hi Donna Hickman - I have a theory about this. Often, I think the lioness carries the weakest or smallest cub. Other times, I'm pretty sure she carries the most adventurous or the naughtiest one, so it won't wander off and/or lead the other/s astray! ❤️🐾😊 Cheers from Downunder, Nadine 😎🙃

Have not seen them the last few days. They had leopards.on Ngala. But there is not much danger for them, so I assume they are fine.

Hi Donna Hickman - I have a theory about this. Often, I think the lioness carries the weakest or smallest cub. Other times, I'm pretty sure she carries the most adventurous or the naughtiest one, so it won't wander off and/or lead the other/s astray! ❤️🐾😊 Cheers from Downunder, Nadine 😎🙃

Dear Diary, My sister were wrestling after breakfast. Mum took us for a walk about in the area. My sister told me to follow her, I did and I get into trouble. يشبهو القطط لكن القطط استانسو من ميات السنين لكن نفس الطبيعة والجمال كمان الأسد في حاجة غريبة لو شبعان لا يأكل ولا يفترس نزيه كمان القط لو شبع وفي طبق الطعام باقي يبعد عنه وينام في مكان آخر أو يحاول. يغطي الطعام عكس الكلب اللي لا يعرف مقدار اكله حتي لو شبع القط نزيه جدا لو قط من لي وشبعان لا يلمس طعام المنزل أو يسبقه انا دايما مربية قطط كتير بحس انهم اسود بس أليفة وجميلة ومحبة للإنسان وذكية وسريعة الاستجابة بس أحيانا بنتك ن عنيدة خصوصا الذكور من أجل الاناث
