I'm one of the group who is "inspired" by these types of videos. This past January I was diagnosed with esophigeal cancer. For about 3 months I could not swallow solid food. I'm beating the cancer and doing well now but by the time I was physically able to eat again, I had a mental block about food. I discovered several of the food challenge eaters videos and they actually make me hungry watching them. So, if you read this please know that you are impacting peoples lives in a positive manner and what more could any of us hope to do in our lives.
Have been having Chemo for bowel cancel and makes all food taste like cr4p. I can only stomach 2 mouthfuls so can't eat any more thabn a handful of food per day. Still on the bright side I've dropped from 25 st to 11st, so not all bad 😡I love these videos, as well as Beard Meets Food (would love to see a challenge between Shuts and Beard).
@@mushypeeze3545 I hesitate to "like" your comment, the entire topic of cancer is distasteful (pun intended). Good luck to you in your battle with cancer. Yes, I'd love to see some challenges between Shuts and Beard although, honestly, I don't think he can compete with her in a speed challenge. Maybe a volume of food but not speed.
I sincerely wish you all the best and good health for the future. I watch them for the opposite reason as I was very fat and now at my goal weight. It just goes to show that these videos have something for everyone. Once again best wishes to you.

I’m neither hungry nor repulsed by watching you crush these challenges. I know I can never eat as much as you can, but I still enjoy watching. Sometimes I eat while I watch, sometimes I don’t. You are my absolute favourite!
I had an eating disorder and lost all my appetite. Watching professional eaters has gotten me my appetite back and nowadays I can only eat while watching Leah, Katina, Joel, Bob or Randy. :D
Had that crowd never heard of Leah before? Never underestimate a legend! Wings looked a bit dry, and the fries were totally unnecessary, but I do love a mixed grill 😋
