There are two versions of this song--clean and explicit. The performance video was the explicit version. I love both versions. And yes, JK is not a little boy anymore. He is a man, and I am here for it. :)
this is what he said about the song. "The lyrics of Seven mean you want to be with the person you love all the time. Like the title of the song, from Monday to Sunday. The willingness to be with the love of my life every day is shown in this passionate serenade," Jungkook is heard saying in the clip. Thank you for saying he is a grown man, he hates it when people call him a baby and I agree he is putting a stop to it. but you have those who are denying this, they are saying he didn't know what he was saying it is just ridiculous and drisrespectful to this grown intelligent man.. .
Lol. It’s very clearly not just a love song. It’s about s3x. Nothing else. It’s not this deep. What else is he going to say. “Yeah it’s about f*cking all day long” haha. It’s very clear that the intention is.
I can only imagine how JK felt when he visited the other membersr families of BTS, especially when the first words out of the mouths of the elderly family were the tone of "Jungkook you are so big now. How old are you? 26? No, you're not 26. You don't look 26. When is your birthday? When did you graduate high school? Really? etc." I find it hilarious and love both.
I loved both versions. In the first version he's "lovin' you right" every day, no matter what the trial or storm life throws at you. And the second one he's "fxxxin' you right" seven days a week. different meaning to each song. And I love both.
Nice video- yes, exactly- he isn't a kid anymore. He's an artist - and great artists grow, mature, and push the boundaries so that the different eventually becomes normal. Elvis, the Beatles, and Queen were shocking when they first hit the scene- and now they're legends. I'm 39, an old millennial and this could have been easily a 90s Backstreet Boys or NSYNC type song (minus the f bombs), but JK makes it his own and brings that to today.
Don't you just love it? The song is just fun, especially if you watch the other version , like the dance version. You heard it right, but he is so sweet and pure that he can get away with not being offensive. There are two versions of the lyrics.
You should watch JK’s performance on BBC 1 Live Lounge with a live band while he was in London. He performed “Seven” along with a cover of Oasis’ song “Let There Be Love”. Both were beautiful & showcased his fantastic vocals. He also performed “Seven”, a live performance outside as well with the same backup band. So, so good. You might catch his latest Weverse Live where he explains his “Explicit” version as well as letting ARMY know his love has never faltered, but I am a grown ass man of 25, soon to be 26 on Sept 1, and I will perform & sing the music that I like. His complete conversation with ARMY was open, raw & so transparent as to how he wants to present himself, his music & performance. I think it answers a lot of questions re his growth as an individual & a member of BTS. I loved it & am all for it.

The original was like "oh so sweet and romantic", the explicit version is a whole different song.
