    Sir on 23:37 u said ke small division le te h as absolute uncertainty but if u are taking reading from two point u double the absolute uncertainty if absolute uncertainty is 1mm we double it to 2mm.

    Sir 27:32 main apnay kaha ke 15% se exceed kare tou reject karein hypothesis, tou sir zaroori hai ke har question main 15% se zyada ho percentage uncertainty tou reject kardein or this rule is only for this particular question? Pls do reply sir.

    sir , what is the smallest division on screw guage and vernier?

      For micrometer screw gauge: 0.01mm
      For Vernier Caliper: 0.1mm

    I wanted to ask that in some places I have seen that k is to be compared with the percentage uncertainty of the raw data with highest uncertainty and I also read that it can be compared with the total experimental uncertainty by adding all of it
    And you said to see the 15% because it was in the question
    What if it is not stated in the question
    Which method do I use???

    Do we have to give the answers in SI base units in AS Physics 9702 Practical exam or according to the unit of the instrument from which we are measuring like for e.g. meter rule which is in cm so we will also give the answer in cm to 1dp or can we also give answer in m by converting cm to m?

      For meter rule you can give answer in "cm" "m" or "mm". You have to just make sure that the decimal places are correct SI units don't matter such especially when measuring things.
      For example, a 78 "mm" measurement can also be written as 7.8 "cm" and t can also be written as 0.078 "m"

      means the maximum error you can make while plotting a point on graph is "half small box"

      coz that last dp cant be accuraetly measured by us due to our rcn time hence we only take till 1 dp

    Sor the uncertainty u said about stopwatch that is 0.2 -0.5s is percentage uncertainty or it is absolute uncertainty.
