- In this video I set out to explore Minecraft Survival and see what loot you can find in 161 shipwrecks... But things quickly seem to go wrong. This is Minecraft But, a Minecraft challenge, a Minecraft horror story, and some things may not be what they seem. I've learned too much about my Minecraft backrooms world, it's starting to feel like a creepypasta...

minecraft horror game backrooms minecraft backrooms story. This is like found footage backrooms but minecraft, and deeper into the backrooms than before.
Some of my ideas on whats going on here.
The corpses are him.
Hes inside the house.
The void area at the end was the 'stomach' of the house(or something similar. Possibly even the void itself.)
The eyes are his(from the talking about if you could sell eyes.)
Him starting to remember pieces of cycles is a sign of him break the cycle(which is why he gets imprisoned.)
By the house do you mean the house from “The infinite house”

my personal theory of all this is zeemyth is stuck in a loop in every single world/challenge they do, but it causes timelines/duplicates of themselves, some aware and some not. Shipwrecked Zee seems to be aware, to some extent. Infinite House Zee doesn't seem aware that I know of, and Farlands Zee doesn't seem aware either.
Currently binging all of these videos so if new information makes this outdated I'll edit this comment.

So you’re clearly stuck in a time loop, the time loop coexists in the same universe with other time loops, like, it’s hard to explain. Apparently these are the consequences of your actions, you’re trying to fix them, it is tight to something more than the world you’re in, some sort of dishonour style void or IDK. And you fail over and over and over again
The speech near the end really spoke me me honestly, I'm finding as I keep going through these videos one by one I'm seeing myself in these, maybe that's the point.
Maybe just similar experiences
Thus far... both videos that involve this place edge around mentioning the thing that scares you about this world, about that cave. And the push is that you are clearly aware of something the audience isn't, establishing yourself as an unreliable narrator. The multiple instances where you see yourself confused me at first. But going back to your infinite house video i think I understand something about the story you're telling. Add in your brief conversation about "finding a way out".... I believe that you're in an infinitely looping world. One where you are returning again and again only to find your own corpses waiting for you. We see you write book number four, leading me to believe you've written every book thus far. In fact, leaving out the books that have no real titles, some of the books do seem to have odd titles for us. Perhaps spelling out a message. "Far" "Do" "Go" "Chasing" "HHouses". Which, while it definitely calls to mind your journey through the infinite house, it also directly describes what you're doing here, going far out in this world to find what amount to homes and houses of what I believe are long dead versions of yourself.
Now, the final area.... that strange place. At first I thought you were underwater, but then I took a closer look at the particle effects. Those particles are very familiar, but I haven't seen them for a long time. Not like that. Those are void particles, from before they were removed from the bedrock to improve game performance. This entire area.... though accessed through what I can only describe as a weird mirror shift, is a realm entirely encompassed by void particles. Is it in the void? Strange strange. Yet... I cannot help but wonder why go to the effort of pushing the underwater feeling before telling us there was no water.
In fact... something odd. You told us at the start of the video that you hated water. You told us that, from the start. And even made a show of dropping down into that flooded cave (which was NOT flooded in your first video, I double checked). Why would you tell us that and act terrified of going down into that water to retrieve that map, the map you don't use till the end? And then you immediately go off chasing after pirate ships, even diving down into the ocean multiple times like its nothing, not the least bit afraid of water.... Not until that point where the water appears out of nowhere, trying to catch you off guard. Trying to take back its treasures.
And then we get a strange scene in the void place, which seems like water. A mirror world, or a world in a reflection on the surface of water. Strange. Further unanswered questions. In the original video... you say something is scratching at the walls, and then it cuts out. In this video... there are what appears to be gigantic scratch marks on the earth. Connected? Possibly. Further, similarities between the carpet of the Infinite House and the sand palace. Actually, talking about the sand palace... I wonder that chest filled with landowner eyes. Are those YOUR eyes? The eyes from a number of previous cycle versions of you? Terrifying thought. It seems many of those skeletons were worshiping the version on the throne. And died there.
Why the carrots? Why the carrots? Trying to see better? What is it you're trying to see? A way out? A way free from the cycle? You cannot escape. You can never escape.
I am absolutely blown away. This is beautiful, and the details that you’ve noticed make me so glad, but really that’s all Ill say about that. Write ups and theories like this are way way cooler than views or anything, it’s just so awesome, you went deeper than I ever would’ve expected

I was gonna do one for your infinite house, but I wanted to wait to see if you were going to put out a part two before I offered my theories about whats going on there.

I speculated that those chests filled with eyes actually had YOUR eyes from endless repeated versions of you. ARE THOSE THE EYES YOU WANTED TO SELL?!!!?!? And landowner eyes... is the land owned that where the infinite house is located? What is the connection between these videos? The claw marks... the strange beast you began to turn into in the infinite house video.... are they connected? Are you hunting yourself across endless repeated time? What is the water? Is that void/reflection place connected to the strange chasm????? I feel like it is somehow.

A great thing I love about the atmosphere in this channel's vids- the use of an echo effect on block placing to make things sound super empty.

Something that caught my eye is the book names. The books of Day 7 and 4 don't have names. In order, we have "Far," "Do," "Go," "Chasing," and "HHouses." Maybe other videos hold clues, but there is definitely a sentence waiting to be found. Perhaps, if the unnamed books had a name, they could he "How" and "You." This gives us the sentence "How far do you go chasing houses?" (basically). Maybe, these books are connected in a special way, due to this. Perhaps they all form a meaning of somebody trying to escape, but ending up hiding away, not wanting to be found, until they die. Perhaps it could be past incarnations of Zeemyth, as shown by the skeletons at the end, some with his head. Perhaps every time the cycle resets, his current self is killed, and a new one spawns in to replace it?

@@mozarteanchaos You're right, I didn't see that before. Maybe each book was a past incarnation, finding the others fates, and knowing it will face the same, rather then just one?
One thing that might be important here is the number 7--there were seven random items that he found and threw into the water before getting frozen and 7 different books, the fourth of which he wrote in. This may be a reference to the seven deadly sins, which helps to allude to how his sins, his mistakes, his "remains" are sneaking up on him. The golden apple is greed due to how much gold it takes to make in-game, the egg could be sloth as it's a symbol of life not yet emerging, the enchanted hoe is pride and the unenchanted one is envy, the cake is gluttony, and the sword is wrath--that leaves the cap as a stand-in for lust...but lust for what? It may be a stretch, but perhaps not for another person but more like desire for an idea, a way to escape his fate, the desire to explore his greatest fears--which is why it comes in handy near the end in the area where he was about to start drowning!

Its fun to see all the references from past videos, I guess the story is now becoming kntertwined wuth each other. Got exited to see the same house and cave with teeth from the first video, it's a nice nod to when you said "exp! You dont get much of that here" especially knowing now that mobs dont spawn in your world, and most likely it's that you're the only mob ever. Liked how the infinite house's piss carpet is bleeding into your world, or if your world is just in the house. Whatever the stiry will be, this is gomna be an amazing ride
Just rewatching these... and i noticed that you found seven books, each labelled as a day, or better yet, one week of books, and, we can presume that you wrote all of them, since we see you writing 'day 4', and, the most interesting detail, there is a week of the infinite house video where, while you are falling through that 'hallway'(that you died at if i remember correctly), you say that you don't remember the last week, and the day counter jumps one week, counting that at more or less 9:52 you see one of those 'lanterns' that chased you at the house and the various use of blocks that we see in the house, i presume that this is the week that you don't remember

I hope in a future video there would be a hint that kind of explains why the narrator only eats carrots. It's most obvious here but I remember he also only ate carrots in all the other videos

you really have a way of making a video seem normal at first but then it slowly gets more unsettling
I notice that he specifically mentions how many CARROTS he can find close to the start of the searching, and the chest has cobwebs, as well as the carrots being in strange stacks, with most of them being stacks of 23 but with a few being different, with two stacks of 9 and 32 respectfully

the fog, whihc appears to close in on a cycle,
and the house, which seaps into this video, as far as i can tell, unrelated world, meaning it went beyond the limits of the world.
i wonder what'll come next..

I don't think I've gotten so immediately hooked with a series than with this one, I am beyond blown away. The constant subversion of expectations of all of these videos, portrayed initially as a typical Minecraft video you'd see any Hardcore player do on your feed over and over, only to completely sweep the rug under the viewer's feet time and time again. The use of Minecraft as a vessel to tell a unique story, while incorporating Minecraft mechanics and keeping them a core aspect is really fun. I feel like other series like this would entirely disregard the Minecraft stuff to try to make an immersive experience, but the way you go about it like it's still just a game thay you're playing, while still being...in the world, if that makes sense? It's so cool. I've genuinely gotten a tiny bit of dread from water in Minecraft now after having watched this video.
The scripts, the camera work, the editing: All of it is just so good. AND ALL OF THE LORE, TOO!! I have never wanted to rewatch an entire Minecraft series so soon after watching it the first time just to try to piece together what the hell is going on(and I mean that in the most positive way possible). I am so genuinely intruiged on how everything ties together, and I want to try to figure it all out. I could genuinely see myself researching and studying this series to take notes and begin writing cohesive series, and I haven't wanted to do that for a series I love in years.

I just have to say that this is so cool. The shots from your pov and from the thing watching you literally made me so uncomfortable. and the fact that all the stories are entwined with each other is so cool 😭 Its like you're breaking off different realities or timelines and going back into old ones and your past self is doing things your future self should be doing. And when you entered the infinite house(?) at the end I got this weird sense of jeja vu like I was experiencing the story with you instead of watching. I could go on and on about how sick this is lmao but I can't wait to see how this goes!!!!!!!

I honestly don’t fully remember, I think it was something along those lines but I haven’t used the tool in years
The term 161 ships is a little inaccurate, if you were to say that the ships died because there was no power and there is no backup then you would be right. Every ship is alive even if it seems to be dead, it’s truly dead if you feel comfortable in it.
What i think is going on (ik i’m a little late to the party [hi guys!!!]) is that our main man, our silliest little guy, has split personality disorder. One of which is made to pursue power/money, an all around greedy person. A pirate, if you will. I’m assuming with all the dead people theming, this split personality was made to protect himself from someone he killed in a fit of jealousy. Seeing as how he repeatedly is talking about how he’ll find more treasure than *someone else.* With the reliance on water, i’m thinking that maybe it was drowning that he killed them with. And that what they’re scared of looking back up at them from the depths is their own sins. The trauma of their past. Which is why the character perceived is so scared of drowning. Of course i could be wrong, but it doesn’t hurt to theorize.
Idk if you'll see this like 2 years later but- something I just thought of, your voice kind of reminds me of a mix of Reddoons and Clownpierce. You have that iconic Clownpierce calm tone mixed with Reddoons deeper voice. Idk if that makes sense lmao

My guy is twitch streamer , he doesn't like water
One reason I like 3:02 is that I felt the same as Zee felt in the vid. The video goes by for a bit without any mention of the silly eldritch goofs in his world, and I did forget about them and just enjoyed the video for a while until I saw that door open. It really wasn't fun being reminded that he's in the House of Leaves like that

my interpretation: it seems like he's searching through all these boats to find an exit or something (or at least that's how i understand the short conversation at 3:50ish). based on the fact that he re-enters a hallway of the infinite house near the end, it's safe to assume this whole setting is inside of the root house and is purely fictional. Another thing i noticed is that when the day 4 book is written on screen, there is a cut and it disappears from the hotbar, like he hid it somewhere (or maybe just put it in the chest). This book is also labeled as "Day 4" within it, but there are other books with days > 4, which could indicate that zeemyth has already done this before... repeatedly.. for an unknown amount of days in the loop, or stuff done offscreen
i think some of these ships (especially the ones with odd generation) were created by zeemyth/other people(?) in previous cycles (although i don't know what the cycle exactly means)
but yea i have no idea i think The Traveler of Worlds is a lot better at this than i am
