My oldest son was born with one club foot, we started out with a cast and then had surgery at 7 months old. I wish they never had the cast because his leg and foot are drastically smaller than the normal leg and foot. However, I am glad we were able to get the club foot fixed, but they need to have a better way of dealing with club foot and this little guy is going to have small legs and feet too.
I’m in my 50’s and was born with feet like this. I used to walk 25 miles a day, and I’ve had a full and healthy life. Unrelated, I had an accident which put me in a wheelchair over a decade ago and my feet have gradually turned back in over this time so I wear afo’s again now.
Oh Thank God there's a reasonable parent! You actually helped/comforted your baby instead of reaching for that camera! So glad you are documenting the journey the right way 😊 and happy for your family and baby! Best of luck!
What a big boy. My dad was born club-footed back in the 50’s and it was a LOT more invasive back then for correction and took years. So happy your angel is on his way to complete healing.
The progress is astounding, just absolutely brilliant. I'm so sorry there have been tears and stress, but I'm glad to see all the work you (and baby) put in is paying off. You're doing great 💜🫂
Handsome little guy! It's a tough process but so worth it when you get to see your little one walking and running. Keep up the good work, both of you 💚
Thank you so so much for sharing his healing journey! By chronicling your experience you've given me a window into what mine must have been. All the very best to your family! ❤❤❤❤❤
Oh, Mom!!! You are doing such a wonderful job with your little man!! You're rocking all the medical stufff, and nurturing and loving on your little baby!
He’s doing so good! I had a club foot when I was a baby and I seen pictures of me with a leg cast and the boots and bar I am so glad I don’t have to worry abt it now that I am older ur son is so precious I wish him good health
My older sister, by almost 3 years, born in 1962, wore braces on her legs for 6 years. Never slowed her down! She took me everywhere with her. Up trees, up mountains, to the top of the monkey bars! Never slowed her down! ❤
YAYYYY!! You made it!!!! My best advice for when he decides he doesn’t want to hold still while you put on the boots (this is for when he only has to sleep in the boots like for naps and bedtime!), is a snack and some sleepy time Lo-Fi for the extra squirmy nights. There is minimal movement in the videos so it’s not too stimulating before bed, but I used to have to put it on UA-cam on the tv to distract my little! Good luck with this next step on this long adventure ♥️♥️♥️
Your baby boy is such an adorable little fellow, and his feet have shown such incredible improvement. He reminds me of my precious little man who wore the bar and shoes, and amazingly, he was able to get around quite well. I had to really keep on my toes...that was in late 1968. I miss him so. He passed away suddenly just a few years ago.
I’m so happy your son is progressing with help straightening his little feet and ankles. My husband who is over 70 was born with his toes attached to his back of his calves. A very rare phenomenon. Wonderful thing is he was able to get help and has been able to walk all his life. Looks like they’ve come along way in correcting this issue.
I don’t even have kids but really enjoy hearing how your little guy is doing when your videos pop up in my feed. I’m sure this documentation is going to help other parents going through the same casting process. Wishing your little one all the best :)
They look so much better!! I am so thrilled for your little guy. Being born club-footed a hundred years ago, the casts did Not work for me. I had the boots and bar and I can remember walking around the house pivoting that thing to take strides. Surgery was done at age 5. I really hope your little prince does not need it.
Hang in there Mama! It gets easier. My son is 1 year old and currently in night time wear and in his 4th boot. When you see him walking, you'll feel relief and your mama heart is going to burst thinking about the progress he has made.
Feeling the power of the Lord through your videos! I prayed for him and then two videos later in my scrolling I find him getting his last set of casts and now this! Y’all are so incredibly blessed with a beautiful baby boy, I pray for all the good things for you and your lovely family! 🥰
You and your hubby are wonderful. I cannot believe the change. I'm looking forward to seeing more as he grows.
His feet look fantastic. Thank the lord for these procedures/processes.
Prayers and love to your family

My sister did the boots and bar over 60 years ago as an infant. She continues to make her living standing on her feet.
