When I first got my dog Ivy she was freaking out. By the end of the day though she was pretty calm and was able to sleep in a huge box next to my bed. It's been two years since that and now she is the queen of our house and neighborhood, also my best friend

Mochi being in front of you with a toy in her mouth reminds me of my dog Olaf when he was a baby he used to trick my mom that he was asleep then when my mom turns around Olaf is in front of her with a chew toy in his mouth good thing he grew out of it
Fun fact: We humans tend to personify animals. For example, dogs are incapable of guilt. But we tend to personify that “guilty” look as actual guilt. So I say, if Mochi is capable of easily tricking you to get in the art room, or learning a lot of tricks, I’d say you’re probably just personifying her as derpy.
