I find the “booing” Colts fans to be pretty embarrassing tbh… but also Im definitely understanding of the ones who did it upon learning of his retirement while at preseason in a Lucas Oil and so having the ability to just look right over to the sidelines and there he is… so they’re of course gonna be all wrapped up in a cocktail of emotions (while also probably even a bit tipsy from the few cocktails too lol) and it understandable how that could/would lead to some of them booing him. I hated it upon seeing them do it but also I still understand and even sympathize on why they did it. However!!! The fans who said they’d _still_ boo him even now, upon him enter into the Colts ROH no less? Then yeah, I’d say “embarrassing” is a certainly a pretty fitting word to describe them… of course there’s still a few more “descriptors” I’d like to use for em beyond just calling them “embarrassing”… but I’ll try to keep things polite. lol

I would encourage many to watch the Andrew Luck interview where he said yes injuries played a part to his retirement, but 90% of the decision was made based off what was happening in his family and what would be best for his wife and future child.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for 27 yrs. I support the team and players when they are successful and when they struggle. I was there when Andrew Luck retired. As a fan in section 641 I can’t discuss the topic with him personally. The only way I can be heard is either to boo if I am disgusted or disappointed OR cheer/clap if I am excited/agree with whatever is going on. The media was classless in the name to be first and made the situation. Did I support Luck walking away week 4 of preseason? I had 1 option, boo and boo I did. Did I support Luck as a Colt and still support him? ABSOLUTELY. He’s classy, nice and will forever be a Great Colt. The media and other clueless teams’ fans tried to say we didn’t appreciate Andrew. Wrong. Wrong.
I'd cheer Luck on. Sooner or later you just gotta let the man rest. All eyes on 2024.
Pittman is a GREAT number 2. Mitchell is gonna be the Colts number 1. Downs is a good slot receiver. Pierce is a fully functional 4.

People in Colts media are firm in their belief that the Colts contend for a Super Bowl in 2019 if Luck plays.
It wasn't reported on much, but someone there said Colts fans had all but left that preseason game and it was mostly Bears fans booing Luck.
Well, whoever said that is an idiot or a liar. Not sure why anyone would believe that either, it makes no sense for a bear fan to boo Luck, hell it makes no sense for a Bears fan to even be at the game at that time. 10pt lead in a 4th quarter of a preseason game? Bears fans left early to go home... A good number of Colt fans left early as the game was over... The 'only' people left were the diehards, families with little kids that wanted autographs from the players as they walked off.
How the hell would it not have been reported on much? It was filmed, taped, and broadcast by FOX.

@@KentSterling he can slide on a designed run just as he would a scramble. The issue is not richardson running, the issue is richardson taking hits, which he can be coached to slide. You don’t tell steph curry to stop shooting 3s because he lands on peoples feet too much and his ankles can’t take it, you tell him let it fly and you live with the injuries. It’s a full contact sport

Richardson did get some brief action on the field this week, going 5-of-7 passing (71.4%) during 11-on-11 drills with completions to wide receivers Josh Downs (3) and D.J. Montgomery as well as running back Jonathan Taylor. While we can't tell much about the offense at this point of the calendar in terms of changes, it doesn't appear the Colts are going to shy away from using Richardson's legs to make plays
