I used to have a mental block on embellishing. It's like I felt it had to be 'pure'. I struggled to proceed past the first 'pass'. Others seem to find more in their pieces to appreciate. But then I kind of started to get it. It's all about layers; even the old masters started off with non descriptive lines and gestures upon which they built. So I am slowly starting to build... and watching you work and hearing you articulate your thought process has been hugely helpful. Thank you once again. X
one is a spatula catalyst and the other is an art catalyst. Look down in the description or in the Amazon store. I have all my things that I use in the Amazon store. it is listed in the description box. and thank you.
I feel to keep it still gives the viewer a better understanding of where everything is. I guess it came from my work. I am a hairstylist and I never turn my clients. That way I always know where I am at in the haircut . I move around the chair...so in my head I know and I am centered to what I am doing. i hope that makes some sense.
This is so pretty! I’m glad I found your channel. Never thought of using acrylic paint or Dr. Martins ink and Stickles! May I ask what the tool is that you use to make the leaves? I couldn’t get the Amazon link to work.
@@SCARYHAIRLADY Thank you - I love your work but have to admit I get confused when I'm looking for the supplies you use for a particular piece - could you perhaps just identify those at the beginning of the video? You have so MANY great things in your amazon store but it's a little overwhelming.
@@casieszaras8229 That is a good idea. I will try my best but sometimes it is a choice I just pull out of the air at the time. I will try it . Thanks for the suggestion. Eloise
@@SCARYHAIRLADY It would be great as then I (we) could take screen shot. Sometimes the hardest thing for me is getting the colors "right." So many to choose from and some are so much more compatible together than other.
You're a good teacher, thank you.
You are welcome!
You are fearless to try stuff and I Love watching it
I have to keep telling myself it is just paper. What's the worst than can happen. Thanks for the encouragement.

You are so welcome! and Thank you
I love your beautiful art. I'm wondering what instruments you used to make the leaves?

and thank you.
What is the applicator you are using to create the leaves? It looks like some sort of spatula
Catalyst or an Art spatula Catalyst. They are frustrating and lots of fun.
Why don’t you like turning your paper?

I am sorry about the link. Thanks for letting me know. Yes it is a catalyst or a spatula. This one is a princeton. I love mixing the paints.
Where do you get the wedge? I don’t see it in your list.
it should be listed in the amazon store. it is the first link in the description www.amazon.com/shop/scaryhairladyart
