A bit over a year ago I realized I had maintained my weight but lost a lot of muscle. So at age 73 I began working out in the gym. Now at 74, I have significantly more muscle than ever before in my life. Part of it is just lucky genetics. I get no credit for that. The rest is simple dedication. I eat a 99% carnivore diet (coffee is my plant). Hit the gym for an hour 5X weekly, prioritize good sleep, and maintain quality relationships. Easy peasy! And yes to your last point. No hurries.
