I mean... the amoura line COULD have the fire type with a stretch since the northern lights are a form of plasma, which is the hottest thing in the universe...
@@megg3761 Plasma is in its essence fire tho. If im not mistaken, which i shouldnt be because i left high shool with a focus on physics (german shool thing dunno how to describe it).

Allright so I've been doing some reading because this bugged me. So, flames may contain plasma but not all since plasma is also defined by density of charged particles as well as them being a certain charge on average. A candles flame for example is able to be influenced by magnetic fields. www.plasma-universe.com/fire-flame/ here's the link if someone wants to look a bit into it at first. @@Boaboaca Really? I wouldn't say that description fits with all of them, for example the Hoppip line can't fly, they just float on the wind, same thing for Drifloon and Drifblim. They float on the wind going wherever it takes them, that doesn't sound like they can control wind/air (just a side note, a few dex entries say they release gas to control where they go, but that doesn't mean they control air). Also Delibird, there is not one dex entry that even relates to flying, or air, the word "Food" appears more times than words that relate to birds. And don't even get me started on the gliding Emolga, or the falling Minior.
Here’s a few: Add “Dark” to the Sazzle line as the males are basically bandits and the evolved females are manipulative seductresses. Add “Steel” to the Kommo-o line as their scales are constantly mentioned of being very tough and metallic-like. They even have their shedded scales turned into pots and pans for cooking! How are they NOT part steel type? Add “Fairy” to all of the Lake Trio, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, as all three of them get their names from fairy-like creatures (pixie, sprite/spirit, and elf) and they can be found living around watery areas (the Sinnoh lakes) the same way nymphs are found. Add “Dark” to the Gothitelle line as the gothic lifestyle is naturally associated with darkness and all things beautiful and interesting about the dark. Gothitelle being pure Psychic doesn’t fully reflect that aspect about the gothic lifestyle.
Add Fairy type to Gallade, Lunala, Nihilego, Xurkitree, The Bounsweet line, The Staryu line and Noivern since they learn Fairy Type moves. Add Fighting to Darkrai and The Guardian deities since they are dangerous and also learn Fighting Type moves.
I have to disagree with you on the Dragonite. Though what you said makes sense, I think it would make more sense to give the entire Dratini line the water typing because you can only catch them by fishing (This is including Dragonair and Dragonite). Plus, they learn about as many electric moves as they do water.
Yeah but it wouldn't make sense for dragonite. He doesn't have the slick serpent like body that the others have. So maybe don't give the water type to dragonite
I always figured that Rotom lost his Ghost type when he possessed electronics because it gave him a corporeal body that was susceptible to being damaged by Normal (and Fighting) means.
its* And Dhelmise shouldn't get the steel type. Dhelmise itself doesn't have metal-like properies. Dhelmise is the plant that wraps around the anchor. Rajhin It doesn't fly. It leaps up and glides, if you watch it. It's confirmed to be based on a flightless bird that's extinct. Pokémon are typed based on their background and story, rather than what would make sense visually or based on attacks. Fossils are in Rock, so fossils prioritise that typing due to that. I'm just saying that Decidueye is ghost and loses flying because that bird can't fly and is basically based on a bird that is a ghost to the world now. By definition, ghosts are called ghosts because they disappeared or can no longer be seen... They're out of existence. It's only recently that the proper origin of the word is being put to use in modern culture. It's not just some invisible person that wanders places haha.
I'm not trying to argue for it being Flying type, but in Pokken Tournament DX, in his victory pose for when you win while in Burst, you can see him flapping his wings and flying
When I was younger I thought that a pokemon could only learn moves that were the same type as it and normal type moves. I thought Groudon was a ground, fire, fighting, and rock type for like half a year.
So Rhyperior would be Ground-Rock-Bug-Fighting. (With level-up moves) Ground-Rock-Bug-Fighting-Water-Poison-Dragon-Dark-Ice-Fire-Electric-Psychic-Ghost-Steel with all methods of learning moves.
Thunder Rhino And even before that, the Pumpkaboo line could learn 4 different Fire attacks (not even counting Hidden Power). I'm still waiting for a Grass/Fire type, but until then, Exeggutor-Alola and Gourgeist-Small are two of my favorite Grass-types just for that reason.
JamesDavy2009 Not as weird as the Rhydon line getting surf of all things Also to the original poster, Gourgeist's fire moves actually make sense because it is a jack-o'-lantern. Which has fire inside it. Exeggutor getting it is still weird though.
Funfact, Rotom didn't use to change its type to Fire, Water, etc. when it changed forms in gen IV. I think it started doing that since gen V, but I'm not sure.
Technically it did change types in gen IV, but only by Platinum. In fact the other forms were introduced there along with Giratina and Shaymin's forms.
Did you really give Electric to the Dragonite? What? Being a dragon gave it control over all basic elements (one of which is electric) and fire, electric, grass, and ice - all of them are equal in this case. Except for Water in which you could ONLY catch Dratini because Dragonite line is heavily related to WATER.
I was just having the conversation the other day! Except I would definitely give Flygon the Bug typing before he got Flying. And Gliscor should def be Ground/Poison/Flying. And how can you say Turtonator is the least dragon-y Dragon type we have when Exeggutor, Vibrava and the whole Goodra line exists!?
I only agree Exeggutor is less dragony. Vibrava is a mix like Flygon and Goodra is just a dinosaur/barney/Dragonite shaped slime dragon. The other Goodra line members sure but they get it Grandfatherd in from Goodra.
Lunatone can very well be fairy for the litterature influence the moon has had over history, so no need to leave it behind... Although it only learns 2 fairy moves
So far as I know, there has never been any indication that the starters are related aside from them all being starters. Solrock and Lunatone are different - they have a clear relationship, both based on appearance and typing.
If Solrock got fire type added, then wouldn't the logical choice be to give Lunatone the water type and let it learn some water moves? The Moon is what gives us the tides and currents, so it would make sense that Lunatone would have the ability to influence and attack with water.
Do this for moves! We already have Flying Press (Flying/Fighting) and Freeze Dry (Ice/anti-water), so there is precedent suggesting we may get more of this in the future!
There's also that water attack that burns. That's sort of a quasi one since it is just hot water and hotness doesn't necesarrily mean fire, but still...
One of the reasons Flying Press works is because the Flying and Fighting elements have complementary interactions with target types. (Note that it is *officially* a Fighting type move, e.g. for STAB or Z-Crystals, and just adds Flying modifiers as a unique effect.)
Empoleon should just be Water/Ice instead of Water/Steel, forget that whole Water/Steel/Ice thing lmao. The trend of the Sinnoh starters is that their secondary typing gives them the ability to evenly contend with the starter that would normally have the advantage over them (Infernape’s secondary typing of Fighting gives it the ability to land super effective hits on Empoleon despite being weak to the latter’s primary typing of Water and Torterra’s secondary typing of Ground gives it the ability to land super effective hits on Infernape despite being weak to the latter’s primary typing of Fire but - strangely - Empoleon does not get a type that gives it the ability to contend with Torterra). Sure it gets Ice-type moves but not only does it not get the STAB from them but it also messes up the trend. If Empoleon became a Water/Ice type, it would be able to super effectively harm Torterra through main forms of attack while still being susceptible to Infernape’s Fighting-type. Empoleon just needs two types lmao, the secondary type just needs to be changed.
My Negro Academia Thank you. That always bugged me the day I evolved my prinplup. It even gives him a weakness to infernape's fire and torterra's ground type, making it the worst typing of the three (in regards to how it interacts with the other two starters, I don't know how it fairs competitively)

@@welwitschia3756 Actually it's only weak to Fairy. Ghost resists bug, so Dark's weakness is nullified, and don't forget about its immunities to Psychic and Normal, it would be one of the best type combos, having one weakness, one resistance, and four immunities.
Yanmega should be Bug/Flying/Dragon (Also, GameFreak, why can’t it learn Fly? The Pokédex says that it can carry an adult in flight and we even see one carry Jessie in the Anime, ignoring the fact that Jessie is only 15)
yeah, it's said somewhere in the anime I think. I didn't really remember it correctly though because I didn't think I'd ever need to know that for anything in my life xD
ItsDray TV 6x weakness, though if this was done, some aspects of the weakness system would be changed. Such as 2x being replaced by 1.5x. And/or Weaknesses being shuffled around. For example bug not being weak to Rock type anymore.
@@KyanbuXM I mean, mathematically as it is now, it's 2^3 or 2x2x2 which is 8. On the other side of that, having something resisted is 0.5 each time, that way if you have a double weakness and a resistance to a type it ends up being x2.
@@joseignaciodepierola2855 Rock is super effective against both Fire and Ice. Ice isn't super effective against either, Fire resists Ice but weak to Rock.. and Rock resists Fire and is neutral to Ice
Noo, thats from Daikaiju Battle Ultra Coliseum DX, if you're rock type your weakness is fire. If you're fire your weaknesses can by pure ice like many fire kaiju, water and ice if you're like Litra and even poison and ice if you're Black King.

@@Pandor456 But would you be punching IT, or just a refrigerator? It is still just possessing it, not becoming it. Woah, I think I just had an existential crisis.
I think dual type moves would be more interesting and plausible since Flying Press is one. Or I guess even if you don't fully implement double=types, have more effects that are super effective against a SPECIFIC type like Freeze-Dry. These two moves are very interesting and need more variance.
I'd say it is better to use certain abilities to add types. For example Steelworker on Dhelmise give it both Steel STAB and its weaknesses and resistances. Levitate can mean adding a Flying type instead of just a Ground immunity.
accelworldfan Lol, Ikr? But even he makes mistakes. Like all the time. I remember when he thought you needed Miracle Eye for Gravity to affect a Dark-type. I still can't let him live that one down, lol.
It is not a mistake, guys. Fighting type Pokemon does not resist Fighting type moves, so Incineroar would still be weak to Fighting type 'cause of his Dark typing.
The move Smack Down is super effective, and then leaves Arceus open to ground moves which it is very weak to. Ever heard of two birds with one stone? How about one god with one stone?
Pokemon getting a third typing would make sense in theory. Of course, when you understand the meta as a whole, doing this can create a dangerous shift in play. Let's use the charizard in this video as an example: Normal Charizard: Fire | Flying Weaknesses: Water x2, Rock x4, Electric x2 Resistances: Grass 1/4, Fire 1/2, Fighting 1/2, Bug 1/4, Steel 1/2, Fairy 1/2 Immune: Ground ___________________________________________ Charizard w\ 3 Typings Fire | Flying | Dragon Weaknesses: Ice x2, Rock x4, Dragon x2 Resistances: Fire 1/4, Grass 1/6, Fighting 1/2, Bug 1/4, Steel 1/2 Immune: Ground ___________________________________________ Water and Electric on Normal Charizard is not as much of a problem compared to Ice and Dragon. In meta, the biggest threats such as Lando-T and Garchomp are things to always be wary of. Hence, why everyone and their mother can pack an Ice Move to deal with these threats. Charizard swapping his water weakness for Ice is a tougher pill to swallow than say Water or Electric. He can neutralize his Water weakness temporarily if he uses M-Charizard Y w/ Drought. He couldn't do that with sun up and Electric moves don't see as much play compared to Dragon moves (e.x. Garchomp w/ Outrage). The other thing is the outrageous Resistances that some 'Mons can aquire. Charizard w/ 3 Typings can pretty much hard stall Grass Types for 6x Resistance. And this is only Charizard. Imagine what other 'Mon can become ridiculously unbalanced if they got a third typing. As things are right now, I don't see GameFreak doing this. If they ever decide to do this, they need to really think this through as to not jeopardize everything up to this point. Just some food for thought. :)
That's where you're wrong. Type effectiveness is _multiplied_ together hence why a Pokémon with an immunity to an attack's type gets no damage regardless of secondary type (2x * 0x = 0x; 0x * 1x = 0x) and why an attack does normal damage if one type is weak to the attack, but the other type is resistant to it (2x * 1/2x = 1x). Dialga (Dragon/Steel) gets normal damage from a Fairy attack for that reason. For your example, Fire resists Grass (1/2x), Flying resists Grass (1/2x) and Dragon resists Grass (1/2x). 1/2x * 1/2x * 1/2x = 1/8x. By your logic, if Zapdos (Electric/Flying) took a Ground-type attack, the attack would be super effective (2x + 0x = 2x). QED
JamesDavy2009 I think you're misconstruing my words. Also, this doesn't seem to apply to Pokemon for 2 reasons: 1. We haven't seen how GameFreak would program the Damage multipliers for 3 types be it effectiveness or resistances. 2. I'm going off of how I learned Pokemon's calculations. It adds or subtracts type Effectiveness vs. Resistance for its damage multiplayer. (e.x. 2+2=4x Damage multiplayer) Base Damage × Damage multiplayer = Total Damage (Give or take factoring in other variables such as Random Damage Rolls, Abilities, STAB ect.) What you're suggesting is "2 to the power of 3". This is most likely not the case when factoring in 3 typings. Of course either of us could be wrong. We won't know for certain unless GameFreak decides to do this. We're stuck with either 2+2 or 2x2, both of which equal 4x Super Effectiveness.
What you have learned about damage calculation is inaccurate. The actual formula they use is shown below (taken from www.serebii.net/games/damage.shtml): Total Damage = ((((2 × Level ÷ 5 + 2) × AttackStat × AttackPower ÷ DefenseStat) ÷ 50) + 2) × STAB × Weakness/Resistance × RandomNumber / 100 RandomNumber is a random amount between 85 and 100 inclusive. The point of contention however is the Weakness/Resistance value. Information from bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Type#Type_effectiveness suggests the Weakness/Resistance values are combined through multiplication, not addition. To give you examples from the following excerpts: "If the type of a move is super effective against one of the opponent's types but not very effective against the other (such as Razor Leaf, a Grass-type move, used against a Gyarados, a Water/Flying Pokémon), then the move deals normal damage." Grass vs Water (2) combined with Grass vs Flying (1/2): 2 × 1/2 = 1 "If the type of move is completely ineffective against one of the opponent's types, then the move does no damage, even if the opponent has a second type that would be vulnerable to it (as in Thunderbolt, an Electric-type move, used against a Quagsire, a Water/Ground Pokémon)." Electric vs Water (2) combined with Electric vs Ground (0): 2 × 0 = 0 This leads to the first point. We actually have seen Game Freak do damage multipliers for three types if you take the effect of Forest's Curse (the signature move of Phantump and Trevenant) into account. This move _adds_ the Grass type if the target isn't a Grass type or replaces the effect of Trick-or-Treat if previously affected. A Scizor affected by the move becomes a Bug/Steel/Grass type. Below is the other type combinations that gain a triple weakness if affected by Forest's Curse. Fire vs Bug (2); Fire vs Steel (2); Fire vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 Fire vs Ice (2); Fire vs Bug (2); Fire vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 Bug vs Dark (2); Bug vs Psychic (2); Bug vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 Flying vs Bug (2); Flying vs Fighting (2); Flying vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 Ice vs Dragon (2); Ice vs Flying (2); Ice vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 Ice vs Ground (2); Ice vs Flying (2); Ice vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 Ice vs Dragon (2); Ice vs Ground (2); Ice vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 The move Freeze Dry is super effective on Water-type targets and thus creates triple weaknesses as shown below: Freeze Dry vs Water (2); Freeze Dry vs Flying (2); Freeze Dry vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 Freeze Dry vs Water (2); Freeze Dry vs Dragon (2); Freeze Dry vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 Freeze Dry vs Water (2); Freeze Dry vs Ground (2); Freeze Dry vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Ground and Rock are interchangeable. It's dumb that Kanto had 3 "fully Evolved" Pokémon lines share the EXACT SAME TYPE: • Geodude : Rock/Ground • Onix : Rock/Ground • Rhyhorn : Ground/Rock
Emilio Rocha it has the ability because even Gamefreak realized that this Pokemon needs a 3rd Type but they didnt have the mechanics in place. So they gave it the Steel typing as an ability
Goomy looks the least Dragon; at the very least Turtonator is reptilian. Also the Fire Amaura/Aurorous caught me off guard, lol. I'd love to see something like the TCG "Delta Species" in which we get Pokemon with seemingly unfitting types.
I mean there is the fan game Pokemon Insurgence, which has Delta Pokemon as one of the main things of the game, with Dark/Fighting Blastoises and Electric/Ice Gardevoirs and all that good stuff. So I guess play that if you want Pokémon with unfitting types and new designs to fit those types.
But I suppose if you want to speak technicalities flying press only ACTS like fighting/flying but is still technically only fighting, so it would be cool to have true double type moves, for example perhaps muddy water could be ground/water.. Though I don't mean to be THAT kind of person..
I think those moves should remain one type based an their origin or whatever, but still get the elemental properties for their damage as is fitting. Main case being, Tri-attack dealing fire/ice/electric damage while being a normal type move better fits the majority of Pokemon that can use it and the neutral balance that would logically be required to specialize in its use. Just like how Flying Press is specifically a fighting technique in origin and requires no affinity to wind or ability to actually fly to be executed, while introducing the perceived tactical advantage that flying type's effectivenesses are based on.
Also, if Pokemon ever got FOUR Types, Flygon would totally be Ground Bug Dragon Flying.

@@xxjoebamaxx7782 Yes thats a form of plasma but its mostly just highly energetic ionized molecules. Which in the case of northern lights are charged because of the IONIZING radiation from the sun. I am still not sure about fire tho tbh id have to look into the process of oxidation more.
Decidueye is based on an extinct species of burrowing owl that didn't fly.
That didn't stop Doduo and Dodrio from getting it.
They're literally named after extinct birds that couldn't fly
And decidueye can ABSOLUTELY fly.
Both in the anime and in the games (sinister arrow raid)
The flying type description says pokemon that can fly AND control air/wind. Decidueye fits in the second part.
It’s also based off of a Mexican god or something that was ghostly and represented by owls
I'll admit, I was kind of surprised when I played gen 6 and found out celebi was still grass psychic, and not grass fairy.

Decidueye doesn't fly... It has wings but is based on a flightless bird. It's Ghost typing is because it's based on a now extinct animal.
Craigy2818 that would make fossils ghost too.
Plus it flies in it's z move.
Craigy2818 Gliding was enough to make Hawlucha flying type.

I both love and hate the fact that alolian exeggutor can learn flamethrower. You can make a tree use firium z.

And even before that, the Pumpkaboo line could learn 4 different Fire attacks (not even counting Hidden Power). I'm still waiting for a Grass/Fire type, but until then, Exeggutor-Alola and Gourgeist-Small are two of my favorite Grass-types just for that reason.

Technically it did change types in gen IV, but only by Platinum. In fact the other forms were introduced there along with Giratina and Shaymin's forms.
jackal, it changed FORMS in platinum but all of them remained ghost/electric. The forms only changed types starting in gen 5.
I can just imagine a level 5 squirtle ohkoing a rock fire ground type
Imagine a bug/grass/ice-type. An 8 times weakness to fire 🔥😅
Zodayn or a bug grass fariy 8 times Posion
Maybe they could just make it 6x so it's slightly easier to balance.
Bug is resistant to poison
Zodayn add steel to it

Gyarados if he got dragon would be freeze dried and die because of that 8× weakness actually weakening gyarados instead of helping him.

Isn't Vibrava and Flygon based on dragonflies? Correct me if I'm wrong.
They're based on antlions
“That would leave lunatone behind”
You didn’t care with a lot of other Pokémon that are part of a duo/trio, especially starters
Lunatone should be fairy then.
If Solrock got fire type added, then wouldn't the logical choice be to give Lunatone the water type and let it learn some water moves? The Moon is what gives us the tides and currents, so it would make sense that Lunatone would have the ability to influence and attack with water.
@@WingedAsarath fairy has moonblast, moonlight...
Do this for moves! We already have Flying Press (Flying/Fighting) and Freeze Dry (Ice/anti-water), so there is precedent suggesting we may get more of this in the future!
Here's an obvious one: Muddy Water
U from drawception?
There's also that water attack that burns. That's sort of a quasi one since it is just hot water and hotness doesn't necesarrily mean fire, but still...
One of the reasons Flying Press works is because the Flying and Fighting elements have complementary interactions with target types. (Note that it is *officially* a Fighting type move, e.g. for STAB or Z-Crystals, and just adds Flying modifiers as a unique effect.)
Steel wing. It’s wing attack ( a flying move) but with steel feathers pretty much. So it should be both steel and flying.
Some penguins don’t live near ice.
ThunderGun2 you don’t live near ice but you acting real cold
Emperor penguins do
Doesn't change the fact that the Empoleon line learns loads of Ice moves.

Normal Charizard:
Fire | Flying
Weaknesses: Water x2, Rock x4, Electric x2
Resistances: Grass 1/4, Fire 1/2, Fighting 1/2, Bug 1/4, Steel 1/2, Fairy 1/2
Immune: Ground

Charizard w\ 3 Typings
Fire | Flying | Dragon
Weaknesses: Ice x2, Rock x4, Dragon x2
Resistances: Fire 1/4, Grass 1/6, Fighting 1/2, Bug 1/4, Steel 1/2
Immune: Ground
___________________________________________
Water and Electric on Normal Charizard is not as much of a problem compared to Ice and Dragon.
2 × 2 × 2 = 8
JamesDavy2009 Ummm... It's 2x + 2x + 2x = 6x.
Not 2×2=4 then 4×2=8.
Also, this doesn't seem to apply to Pokemon for 2 reasons:
1. We haven't seen how GameFreak would program the Damage multipliers for 3 types be it effectiveness or resistances.
2. I'm going off of how I learned Pokemon's calculations. It adds or subtracts type Effectiveness vs. Resistance for its damage multiplayer. (e.x. 2+2=4x Damage multiplayer)
Base Damage × Damage multiplayer = Total Damage
(Give or take factoring in other variables such as Random Damage Rolls, Abilities, STAB ect.)
What you're suggesting is "2 to the power of 3".
The actual formula they use is shown below (taken from www.serebii.net/games/damage.shtml):
Total Damage = ((((2 × Level ÷ 5 + 2) × AttackStat × AttackPower ÷ DefenseStat) ÷ 50) + 2) × STAB × Weakness/Resistance × RandomNumber / 100
RandomNumber is a random amount between 85 and 100 inclusive.
The point of contention however is the Weakness/Resistance value. Information from bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Type#Type_effectiveness suggests the Weakness/Resistance values are combined through multiplication, not addition.
To give you examples from the following excerpts: "If the type of a move is super effective against one of the opponent's types but not very effective against the other (such as Razor Leaf, a Grass-type move, used against a Gyarados, a Water/Flying Pokémon), then the move deals normal damage."
Grass vs Water (2) combined with Grass vs Flying (1/2): 2 × 1/2 = 1
"If the type of move is completely ineffective against one of the opponent's types, then the move does no damage, even if the opponent has a second type that would be vulnerable to it (as in Thunderbolt, an Electric-type move, used against a Quagsire, a Water/Ground Pokémon)."
Electric vs Water (2) combined with Electric vs Ground (0): 2 × 0 = 0
This leads to the first point.
Fire vs Bug (2); Fire vs Steel (2); Fire vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Fire vs Ice (2); Fire vs Bug (2); Fire vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Bug vs Dark (2); Bug vs Psychic (2); Bug vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Flying vs Bug (2); Flying vs Fighting (2); Flying vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Ice vs Dragon (2); Ice vs Flying (2); Ice vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Ice vs Ground (2); Ice vs Flying (2); Ice vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Ice vs Dragon (2); Ice vs Ground (2); Ice vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
The move Freeze Dry is super effective on Water-type targets and thus creates triple weaknesses as shown below:
Freeze Dry vs Water (2); Freeze Dry vs Flying (2); Freeze Dry vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Freeze Dry vs Water (2); Freeze Dry vs Dragon (2); Freeze Dry vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Freeze Dry vs Water (2); Freeze Dry vs Ground (2); Freeze Dry vs Grass (2): 2 × 2 × 2 = 8
Torkoal should evolve into turtonator.
I agree
Sadly I read "Torkoal" as "Todoroki" smh
Eeeeeeeh.......
I Just Agree Of 47.8%
Yep
Ground and Rock are interchangeable.
It's dumb that Kanto had 3 "fully Evolved" Pokémon lines share the EXACT SAME TYPE:
• Geodude : Rock/Ground
• Onix : Rock/Ground
• Rhyhorn : Ground/Rock
Solgaleo could be fire type.
Lunala could be flying type.
Solgaleo is metal and psychic and he is the god of the sun and the sun is a ball of fire...
Aquatically pls no, the sun isn't a ball of fire at all. It's a ball of extremely hot plasma
@@arpeggiosfromhell4695 .....so is hot? YES so it will be fire steel psychi
The sun is a ball of metal tho, not fire
@@arpeggiosfromhell4695 its accually a very frikin hot ball of nickel and iron
I think mega venusaur would have these 3 types: grass Poison dragon
venusaur deserves dragon ok?
Heck give all the gen 1 starters dragon
VENASAUR DESERVES ALL OF CHARIZARDS LOVE.
It’s also slightly unfair that Charizard and Venusaur get secondary types, whereas blastoise gets left behind as a pure water type.
@@lyzakb5876 yea... CHARIZARD MUST PERISH
.....but it's a hippo... as much as its cool looking.
Dhelmise: Grass Water Ghost Steel
he technicaly doesnt need the steel type since its ability makes all steel type moves have stab
Emilio Rocha but he should still have it, seeing as Dhelmise is the moss possessing an anchor.
Stab ontop of stab
Jacob Lewis BOOOOOOOO it’s not the steel that is the Pokémon YOU ,but it should be water 💧
Emilio Rocha it has the ability because even Gamefreak realized that this Pokemon needs a 3rd Type but they didnt have the mechanics in place.
So they gave it the Steel typing as an ability
Lockstin: What if Pokémon had three types?
Forests Curse and Trick-or-Treat: *Allow us to introduce ourselves*
You missed kommo-o , kommo-o should be Dragon fighting steel because of its hard scales
I came up with my own list beforehand

MaxArceus Vibrava: add flying, remove Dragon for bug
Mawile should have dark type added.
Like why?
José Ignacio de Piérola dark bug and fighting, gains a type and looses two resistances and a weakness, also stab sucker punch (orgasms in tryhard)
Well Doah, Dark Is Weak To Bug, Fighting And Fairy.
Why?
Wait mawile isnt a dark type?!?
Dhelmise’s ability was literally a way to pretend it was also Steel type, why not add Steel instead of Water?
Because then it has a signature ability that actually does NOTHING (yes ik rotom fan but levitate is not a signature ability)
Anthe Grim I could never get that game to work, but my computer is old.
Goomy's line is based on a blue dragon sea slug
and also old medieval art which depicted knights fighting giant slug/snail
Celebi: Psychic Grass Fairy Flying Bug. I think it could have 5, it looks like a bug and has ties to forests where bugs live
j00st00s don't forget onion type
I loved this! But I want to know, what if Pokemon MOVES had two typings?
Flying Press.
But I suppose if you want to speak technicalities flying press only ACTS like fighting/flying but is still technically only fighting, so it would be cool to have true double type moves, for example perhaps muddy water could be ground/water..
Though I don't mean to be THAT kind of person..
why stop at 2? might as well make tri-attack the fire/ice/electric move it was always meant to be.
